Taehyung sat against his bed, staring at his feet with a dazed face. His phone had buzzed a few times but he didn't bother looking at it since he couldn't read properly anyway.
A helpless sigh left him and he threw his head back against the wall lightly, wiping away the tear that slide down from the side of his face.
Why do I have to deal with this? Taehyung sniffled and decided to pick up his phone that began to buzz repeatedly as if he was receiving a call. Surprisingly it was Jimin spamming him and soon enough loud knocks began to echo downstairs.
"What the fuck?" Taehyung scrambled out of bed and jogged downstairs, being careful not trip over and run too fast since his legs were still healing. He unlocked the door and opened it, raising his eyebrows when he saw Jimin and an familiar male.
"Taehyung!" The other threw himself onto Taehyung who stumbled back and winced at their bodies clashing against each other, "I missed you!"
"Chill out, I told you how to act before we got here," Jimin grabbed the stranger by his collar and yanked him back from the startled Taehyung, "Can we come in?"
"Uh, sure," Taehyung moved out of the way, eyes stuck on the boy who he had definitely seen before but couldn't remember the name of.
"Oh right, I'm Hoseok," The boy introduced himself, "Do you remember?"
"Um, the boy from the video?" Taehyung turned to Jimin who nodded with a soft smile, "I'm sorry I don't remember you, only the video."
Hoseok's smile began to fall, but the boy forced one anyway, "It's fine! You'll remember soon,"
Taehyung felt his heart churn at the statement, but he just sucked in a shaky breath and looked at Jimin, "How come you guys are here?"
"Well Hoseok flew all the way back here to see you, so I thought I'd take the day off to see how you're doing and also introduce you guys again," Jimin explained to the boy who slowly nodded and chewed on his bottom lip, "How have you been? Everything okay?"
"Yeah," Taehyung nodded nervously.
"Wow, your personality really has changed," Hoseok mumbled, yelping when a hit was delivered against his arm, "What?! You didn't say I can't say that!"
"You should use your critical thinking!"
"It's fine, you can talk about if you want," Taehyung thought carefully as to what teenage boys would do when meeting up with each other. He tried to remember at least what they'd do together before the accident, "Do you wanna go to my room?"
"If you want, isn't walking up the stairs trouble?" Jimin worriedly asked the boy who seemed to have an unstable balance whenever he made sudden turns.
"Only a little, it's better than the first few days," Taehyung replied and held onto the staircase, hating how his hand was constantly trembling for no reason.
"Do you have any cool scars?" Hoseok asked the boy as an attempt to lighten up the mood, however Taehyung didn't seem to amused. The boy just shrugged in response and stepped into his room.
Jimin glanced at the sad Hoseok and back at Taehyung, "Do you wanna go out somewhere? Like to the park maybe? Or one of your favourite restaurants?"
Taehyung sat down on his bed and rubbed his hands together, "I don't know, I can't really go out much right now away, it's only been 2 weeks since I've been allowed to leave my room without someone watching me." He smiled.
"Yeah of course! We'll wait until you feel comfortable enough to walk around more. Are you okay with us coming over? I know it's a bit weird having people you don't even know coming in," Hoseok asked the boy with a sweet smile.
