Taehyung stared at his reflection in his bathroom mirror, running his fingers across the various scars and marks on his arms. They all were the same type; light gashes running up to his forearm and stopping at his elbow.

Then he noticed writing, and that's what made him fear that someone else had done it to him.

What was I going through? Taehyung pondered, staring at his body. The sight made him insecure, so he retained from wearing long sleeves even though he felt as if those were not because of him.

Once he was changed into his university uniform, which was thankfully simple; a white shirt and some formal pants, he made his way downstairs where his family had gathered along with another male he hadn't seen before.

Taehyung stood at the top of the stairwell, far enough to not being seen but close enough to hear what he was talking about.

"So don't mention anything in the past- well about the issue. Because he's lost his memory, the fuckers lawyer can easily use the fact that we fed him false memories that he never did anything, so refrain from mentioning them," Hanseul explained the boy who nodded in understanding.

"Language. And Jimin, we really appreciate you coming to visit him. I can't imagine how bad it for him, so having his best friend who's always been there for him would be a lot of support," Mrs. Kim gave the boy a sweet smile.

"Can I go visit him?" Jimin asked the group who nodded.

Taehyung quickly ran back into his room and sat down on his bed, picking up his phone and opening up a random app which he pretended to be interested in.

Soft knocking was heard from his room, and then the handsome boy stepped inside with a sad yet excited look on his face.

"Tae? It's me, Jimin," The boys footsteps were slow, hands extended out to touch Taehyung who raised his eyebrows and leaned back the closer he got.

"The way you're approaching me with T-Rex arms is fucking freaking me out buddy," Taehyung shuffled away from Jimin who sat dangerously close to him, "I don't who you are, don't you think you should be a little more distanced,"

"They weren't exaggerating when they said your personality is the total opposite of what it used to be," Jimin sadly spoke, "We were best friends, you know since we were basically babies? At one point we lived together,"

"Um," Taehyung stared at him confused, "Why are you talking to me like I'm a baby,"

"I'm sorry, I'm used to your old personality," Jimin felt strange seeing Taehyung who was no longer the Taehyung he knew. He didn't know what to say or how to react, the boy seemed to get more agitated than before and was more rude.

"What was I like before?" Taehyung had asked this multiple times to different people and often got the same answers. But, that never soothed him. He had no idea who he was and listening to other people tell him made him feel at least real and not someone who randomly woke up.

"Misunderstood and too generous," Jimin replied, trying not to be hurt about the fact Taehyung no longer greeted him with tight hugs and smiles.

"Sucks," Taehyung awkwardly replied and rubbed his hands against his thighs.

"How's school? Is it hard?"

"A little, I don't know what's going on most of the time and, but I hang out with my best friend Jeongguk so I feel better,"

Instantly, Jimin's smile dropped and disgusted look on his face took over, "Stop hanging out with him,"
