Spider-Man: Venom

Chapter 16

Later

Peter is walking the city streets when he sees what appears to be Mary Jane hanging on top of a flag pole
"Mary Jane" Peter said to himself as so he ran into an alleyway and quickly suited up and web zipped to the top of the building
"MJ, what happened?" Asked Spider-Man but all she did was point and then venom leaped at him, holding him down
"I told you that if you ever wear that mask again, I will hurt those you care about" said Venom
"Why do you care so much about hurting me, you were using me" said Spider-Man
"It's not us our other you hurt Peter Parker, you've hurt your friends as well" said Venom who's gave them retracts revealing to him that the host is Eddie Brock
"Eddie" Spider-Man said shocked
"Surprise" said Eddie but then Spider-Man kicked him off of him with him leaping to his feet
"Look Eddie, whatever your doing, it's not you it's the symbiote, you gotta get it off of you" said Spider-Man
"Why would I do that, this is my father's legacy, I also thought it was yours as well until the symbiote showed me everything, and to think I thought we both had nothing but in truth it was only me who had nothing, you had your aunt and uncle, Harry and MJ were always more attached to you then they ever were with me, and to think I felt sympathy for you" said Eddie
"But I didn't do anything to you" said Spider-Man
"You cost me everything, I lost my job, I got kicked out of school, and you tried to destroy what made you stronger but instead it found a better host in me and now I'm going to do what the green goblin failed to do and kill Spider-Man once and for all" said Eddie as his face disappeared into the symbiote, he then leaped at Spider-Man smacking him across the roof with him landing on the street, he gets him as venom lands in front of him
"I thought you would put up a better fight" said venom but all Spider-Man did was shoot a web to get away
"Oh no you don't" said Venom as he also shot out a web to chase him
"This is insane, first Harry wanted to kill me and now Eddie, what is with everyone of my friends wanting to kill me" said Spider-Man but then venom appears next to him and knocked him out of the sky with him landing on a nearby building roof
"How did he sneak up on me?" Asked Spider-Man as he got up with venom shooting webbing at this wrists preventing him from getting up
"You really like holding people down, this is what your into" said Spider-Man
"Oh you think your funny don't you, no matter it's going to mean anything after this is all over" said Venom and then Mary Jane hits him with a brick, he turns around with annoyed look on his face
"That's enough Eddie, I've seen what the Symbiote does to people, you need to fight it" said Mary Jane
"There is no problem with us, we are one with our goal and you need to stay out of the way Mary Jane or else you will get hurt as well" said Venom
"Leave her alone" Said Spider-Man using his superhuman strength, rips his arm from the webbing and grabs venom by his tongue and then he kicks him in to chest but venom grabs Spider-Man by the throat and the two fling each other into a nearby construction yard with both of them falling into the metal pipes, the pipes fall around venom causing a loud vibrational sound which begins to disorient venom
"Of course the symbiote doesn't like loud vibrations" Spider-Man said to himself as he rolled off his back and onto his chest before getting up and grabbing some pipes as venom restabiles himself, he grabs two pipes and just when venom is about leap on him again, Spider-Man slams the pipes together creating a sound that was loud enough to catch venom off guard
"What are you doing?" Asked Venom
"It's simple really, you didn't spend enough time with the symbiote to figure out it's weakness" said Spider-Man as he grabs the other pipes around him building a cage of sorts around him
"This should take you down to size" said Spider-Man as he hit the cage with the pipe he's holding causing venom to fall unconscious as the symbiote is too weak to react.

Later

Eddie is being taken into SHIELD custody as due to him being bonded to the symbiote means that he wouldn't be able to stay in a regular prison as he could just break out very easily as Spider-Man and Mary Jane watch
"It kind sucks what happened to Eddie" said Spider-Man
"Yeah but do you think what he said is true, that you hurt everyone that you interact with him" said Mary Jane
"Possibly but I don't know if that was him or was it the symbiote influencing him but all I know is that I'm hoping that he gets better" said Spider-Man as Eddie
looks at them as he's being taken with the three of them knowing that their friendship is forever fractured
"In a year we've lost two friends" said Mary Jane
"Unfortunately but let's promise that it doesn't happen to us, now let's try to put this behind, the key world being try" said Spider-Man as he grabs Mary Jane and the two swing away.
