I woke up to my body sore and feeling warm. I looked up to see Kyle sitting beside me. He gave me a small smile. I tried to wake up but I felt intense pain in my body. "Hey! Hey Hey! Please lie down. You have a high fever," he said helping me lay down and grabbing a thermometer.

I groaned as my back hit the bed. I held my head which hurt. "What happened?" I croaked. "I don't know I came back yesterday late I crashed in my room. When I woke up in the morning and came to check on you. You were burning up," he explained as he placed the thermometer in my mouth.

"Did something happen?" He asked. Events of last night flashed in front of me. I shouldn't be taking stress my anxiety! That's why I am like this.

"No," I whispered. He took out the thermometer and checked the temperature. "Great it's gone down just by 1 degree since the morning," he groaned. Wait since morning? I looked at the clock which showed 1 pm.

There was a knock on the door and Elina walked in. "Soup for our gorgeous patient." I smiled as I slowly sat on the bed. Kyle helped me as he took off the wet cloth from my head. He set the table in front of me. "Thank you," I Croaked. He gave me a glass of water and I drank it.

"You should have texted us, Kiara. We could have come home early," she said sitting at the end of the bed. "It's okay. I was fine yesterday," I said. She just fakes glared at me. Kyle blew on the soup before placing the spoon in front of me. I ate it.

"You don't have to baby me," I said laughing. "Just shut up! Why the hell didn't you tell me?" he asked. "It's okay big bro," I said patting his shoulder. "Do you know how worried I was when I found you had a 100-degree fever?" he asked.

"You know it happens to me a lot. I will be fine by tomorrow!" I said. "Absolutely not! You aren't going to school on Monday!" he ordered. "Yes, Dad!" I saluted him as he placed another spoonful of soup in my mouth.

After a few minutes of eating, he gave me my medications and I laid down again my eyes getting heavy. "Go to sleep, Kia," he said as he grabbed my hand. I held on tighter. "Don't worry I am always here," he whispered. And I drifted off to dreamland.

I felt someone stroking my hair I opened my eyes to see Dad sitting beside me. "Kyle, how can you be so irresponsible? You know how delicate she is! She can't handle a lot of stress or pain!" He whisper-shouted at him so he couldn't wake me up.

"DAD! I didn't know I took care of her!" He whispers shouting back. "Guys?" I said my voice raspy. "Princess! Are you okay? Do you need something?" he asked panicking. I slowly sat up taking his support.

"I am fine Dad," I said. "Absolutely not! You aren't going to school the whole week!" he said. I laughed. "Dad don't be over-dramatic. Kyle and I have agreed that I won't go to school Monday. But I can't miss a whole week! The school has just started!" I said.

"Princess, why do you take so much stress?" He asked. I looked at Kyle for help but he looked equally concerned. "Dad relax I will be fine!" I said. "Stop troubling her!" Mom said as she came in with some chicken soup. I smiled at her. She kept the soup and Dad started feeding me. Gosh, I felt like a child.
