Asher's POV:
I sighed walking out of the apartment. What was happening and why? Why couldn't I keep away from her? She hates me with all her heart and I know she should. But then why when I know she could die because of me I still want her to be mine? Living away from her for so long as hell. It ate me alive every day that she was 5000 miles away from me when she could have been with me right in my arms. We could have been married. I could kiss her pretty lips all day every day.
The pain I was going through and the control I had not to kiss her today was so immense. But I knew she was broken and I was the reason. But I didn't know what to do. She has decided to treat me like this.
I love when she has that smile on her face and the fact that I could make her smile was the biggest satisfaction. But I haven't seen that beautiful smile in the past months. The way she has drowned in work not wanting to do anything else. I needed to be there for her, she needed me then and she needs me now. I am not going to leave her as I did before.
Cause even if she thought I didn't like her back then, little did she know,
I was completely in love with her. Even today.
Kiara's POV :
I walked to Kyle's cabin only to meet with two pairs of eyes staring back at me. "What the fuck is he doing here?" I asked, looking at Kyle. "Kiara, I'll be dealing with his company now, please go," he said. "No, we are not doing the deal anymore," I said. "Ms Wilder, I think this is highly unprofessional," he said getting up.
"I asked you to leave me alone, didn't I?" I said through gritted teeth. Asher got up from his seat walking toward me as he glared back. "We can talk about this later," he said, towering over me. "Asher King, you are never talking to me again," I said as I walked out of the room slamming the door. As soon as I walked out I sighed.
This was so difficult, the number of emotions that rushed back after I saw him was about to explode. The way he still looked the same Asher I fell for even though he had changed so much. The door opened and I was about to walk to my cabin when a hand grabbed mine pulling me to my cabin and pushing me against the door as he looked at it.
"Why are you getting on my nerves?" he asked angrily. I tried to get out of his strong grip but held on tighter, making me whimper a little. "I will throw you out," I said. "I would like to see you try Angel," he smirked. "Don't fucking call me that," I glared. "I like this dirty mouth of yours, should I shut it for you?" he asked, making my eyes widen as I tried to get out of his grip even more.
"What do you want? I'll give you anything to leave me alone," I said. "Angel, I want you, I want this pretty mouth of yours, your beautiful smile and those cute eyes, and this hot body. But more importantly, I want my Kiara back. The one that was my angel seven years ago," he said ending seriously. I stomped on his leg hard making him stumble a little but his didn't group didn't loosen.
"Yeah, she is dead," I said, standing eye to eye. "I don't think so. You are still the most beautiful girl I know and the smartest person. So be a doll and come to my party," he said. "Asher, don't you think you are making too many demands?" I asked as he moved closer to me. "Why? You want to make some too?" he smirked. "Yes, for you to stay the fuck away from me," I said pushing him aside and sitting on my seat.
"Kiara, your brother and best friend are going to attend and so are you," he said, pulling me up and into his chest glaring at me. "I will do no such thing," I said. "I love how you try to defy me in every possible way," he glared, his voice rising in anger. "Why? You didn't like it when girls cared for you and were nice to you, right?" I snarled. "Stop bringing up the past!" he said, pushing me down on the chair.
