It was Thursday and I was so over and done with the week. We had some surprise tests and a lot of homework to do. I was waiting for the weekend so I could just sleep in. I sighed walking to my locker to dump all the books in. It was only the third class of the day.

I turned around only to bump into Asher. "Hi," I said regaining my balance. "What happened to you?" he asked. Over the past week, I could barely concentrate on anything. Schoolwork had taken a toll on me. Asher on the other hand was least bothered. He would drop me home and pick me up sometimes. I was glad that we had become closer.

But with all this closeness came feelings that had intensified over the past few days and I was really scared that he didn't reciprocate them. We didn't spend a lot of time alone. "Nothing, just stressed," I said walking to English.

"Why the fu*k are you stressed? Blake should be stressed. You are one of the brilliant students in school," he asked me. "That doesn't mean everything comes easy to me Ash," I said walking into the classroom. All the heads turned to us but they all went back to their work. Everyone was accustomed to seeing me and Asher walking together. According to the Love expert Elina, everyone knew I was his girl.

Which was completely stupid if you ask me. Because we were far from that. I sat down in my seat and he sat down in his. "So how's work?" I asked him. Christian told me that they had some problem yesterday and Asher had to rush out in between the school. "Nothing I can't handle," he said. I nodded smiling. He was good at whatever he was doing.

I wanted to know, what was that he did. But somewhere down in my heart, I was scared to find out. "Asher, I-" "Good morning class...." And I didn't get to complete my statement.

After English, we walked back to lunch. "You were saying something?" he asked. "Umm... Nothing," I replied. He wanted to ask me further but he didn't. We walked to the table sitting down. The conversations started to flow in but I wasn't in the mood today.

"Asher?" We heard a voice behind us and all our heads snapped to Cindy. What did she want? "I heard about tomorrow. I will be rooting for you," she smirks at me before walking away. I looked at the guys to give me an explanation but they just looked at each other. I sighed putting my head on the table. I didn't want any more on my plate right now.

Friday was going by fine. I didn't talk to everyone yesterday and nor had I met anyone today. Cheer practice was canceled and so was today's game due to some massive match in the LA boxing ring. I don't even know how that affected us but apparently, LAPD had made sure to have no mass gathering since they would be at the game to control the crowd.

I walked out of my last class ready to hit the hay when Blake ran to me. I looked at him confused when he spoke. "You have to stop ASHER!" he said. And his name set the panic button on. "What did he do now?" I asked. "Meet me at your house in three hours," he said and I nodded still confused. Asher hadn't talked to me since yesterday and I wasn't in any mood to either.
