"Mom I'll be back by the party starts, something came up," I said rushing out. I got into the car and drove to their house. As soon as I reached I expected to see Asher there but all I could see was everyone pacing back and forth and Blake and Christian shouting on the phone Lilia and Mrs Becker were in tears.
I walked in and when Lilia saw me she started crying loudly rushing to hug me. "Hey, Hey what's wrong?" I asked rubbing her back. "I'll call you back, you better get this shit sorted I want to know their location!" Christian shouted ending his call.
"Kiara, I need you to listen to me carefully," he said. "Christian you are scaring me, spit it out," I said already scared that something was wrong. "You know how Asher was supposed to be here by now?" he said cautiously.
"Yes? Is he not here yet?" I asked. "So, his plane was caught up in a situation," he said. My heart started racing as I got up from the seat.
"No, Christian you cannot tell me that," I said. "Kiara, his plane has taken off and then...." he said. Tears started pooling up in my eyes.
"Tell me he was not on that fucking plane CHRISTIAN!" I shouted at him as my eyes started to water heavily.
"Kiara-" "NO! THAT CAN NOT BE THE CASE! HE CAN NOT BE IN ANY DANGER!" I shouted. No, he cannot. He is fine and he is safe. And he will be here soon. My heart started to beat faster and my eyes started to become blurry. My breathing became ragged and my legs gave out as I dropped to the floor.
"KIARA!" I could hear everyone shout. But I held my knees to myself. "No, No, he cannot be in any danger," I whispered rocking as tears flowed. "DON'T FUCKING SAY THAT!" Blake shouted throwing his phone on the ground broke into pieces.
"Blake tells me he is fine, tell us he is fine," Lilia cried. "They found the pilot's dead body," he said his eyes tearing up. My eyes widened as Lilia started to feel dizzy and I sat there frozen. "The plane... it was on fire... Some parts were turned to ashes... They ca-" he stopped not being able to say further.
"NO! Don't say that!" I shouted again my voice harsher and raspier. "Honey, he will be okay, he is the strongest person, right?" Mrs Becker said. I was trying to believe that but now even I was scared, what if it was true? What- I broke down crying again.
Lilia came and hugged me crying with me. Asher, you cannot leave me alone you idiot You promised to protect me. You promised. I wanted Asher and that was it. I just wanted to see him. God please, please don't take the love of my life away from me! I love him, I do. Take me instead of him. Please!
"Please!" I shouted crying again. "Kiara!" "Kiara!" heard them call but I refused to take my head away from my knees.
"ANGEL!"
I looked up to see if I misheard it but no, he was there. Standing in flesh and blood. Actually in blood. His shirt and suit were covered in blood. "Why are you-" I got up and launched myself at him. "Oomf," he said at the impact but I didn't care. He was here, standing here with me.
