I stood there staring at him for a few seconds.
No.
No.
There was no way he was back after all these years. NO.
I yanked my mask away from my face letting him see all the anger I had. I turned around trying to walk away from him, only for him to grab my hand and pull me to the side as he took off his mask.
He looked so different. He looked like someone I never knew. I stood there staring at him before slapping him hard, people from a few tables around looked at us but he didn't say anything. Blake and Christian rushed over their masks already off.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" I asked. "This is my house," he grumbled. His voice sounded so foreign to my ears. He had a little accent and his voice was deeper than before but I didn't care about that right now.
"Okay, then I will leave," I said, turning around only for him to push me up against the walls on the pillar away from everyone's eyes. "Angel, you've changed," he said, giving me once over. I fisted my hands. "Don't fucking call me that," I growled. "And you swear now," he said, smirking. I swear I am going to punch him.
"King, leave me the fuck alone before I dismantle your face, that's the only good thing about you, don't make me ruin it," I said.
"You still find me hot?" he smirked. I pushed him hard making him stumble before pinning him against the pillar. "If I ever see you again, I will fuck you up," I said leaving him. Blake and Christian looked at me wide-eyed. "Ask your friend to stay away, if he loves his life, and you both better follow that too," I said walking away.
I walked to Elijah holding his hand. "Darling we need to go," I said, giving him a small smile. "But we still have time," he pouted. I turned around to find Asher glaring at me but I just smirked in return.
"Don't tell me you are the girl," Ms Smith said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You are the girl that he loved and left behind," she said, her eyes softening. "I am sorry, but I think you have mistaken me for someone else," I said as I grabbed Elijah's hand. They didn't deserve this but I had to cut all ties with them.
"No, it's true, he was so miserable when he came back. He refused to talk to anyone, he was so shattered, I saw the picture in his wallet. It was you, those eyes," she said. I looked at her confused. "I am sorry I have to go," I said walking out of there without any answer.
I was pissed off and I didn't even have a car. I called a cab and we walked out of the gate waiting. "Auntie, are you okay?" Elijah asked. I just nodded, I didn't want to think about anything right now. "Kiara!" I heard someone yell but I didn't want to turn around.
The footsteps stopped right beside me. "What?" I snapped. "Please don't do this," he said. "Christian go back," I threatened. "We were friends," he said. "Exactly, were. Don't open up those wounds Christian it took me years to close them," I said as I saw a cab in the distance.
"But you haven't healed from them," he said in a serious voice. "I don't care, leave me alone," I said glaring at him. "Just know I am sorry," he said defeated. I didn't reply to that, I didn't have to, he deserved this.
I sat in the cab and left him standing there dejected. As soon as I pulled up at Kyle's house I walked Elijah inside. He seemed to know something was up so he was quiet. As soon as the door opened he ran in and I saw Elina walk toward me confused.
"He is back."
Third Person POV:
"Asher, I told you this was a bad idea," Blake muttered as Christian ran behind Kiara. "I don't fucking care, I can't stop my business just because she can't come to terms with her emotions," Asher muttered as they walked to his office. "Really? Is it her that needs to come to terms with her emotions?" he said hauntingly.
