It's been almost a week and we just finished a meeting for the new product launch. It was Saturday and today we had an event that Leonardo was holding. I had helped him with the preparations yesterday and I smiled, reminiscing how much fun we had had. I was almost ready in my gown and ready to go. As I got in my car I drove to the venue. Nearing the place I could see all the paparazzi and the cameras flashing. I got out of the car and onto the carpet and saw Elina and Kyle standing near the door. They were early.

I walked down as they asked me numerous questions which I just ignored. When I met with them I hugged them both. The crowd went silent when a limousine pulled up. I sighed when I saw him step out of the car. Kyle cursed, making me look at him. "Don't. It's not worth it," I said, walking in without giving him a second glance. As soon as I went in I met with some of my business friends.

"I'll see you soon," I smiled at one of my clients as they left. I turned around only to be picked up and twirled around making me giggle. "Leo!" I laughed as he put me down taking a look at me. "You look gorgeous," he smiled. "Thank you, you don't look so bad yourself," I said, hooking my arm with his. "This is a success," I said looking around. "Not without my best friend," he said kissing my cheek.

"Of course," I smiled at the people that passed by. I was about to walk to Kyle and Elina when someone started talking to Leo. "I didn't know you two were dating," said the lady, making me look at her. Before I could say anything Leo put his arm around my waist and kissed my cheek again. "We are, she is just perfect," he said. I saw the man look impressed as I smiled at them politely.

He needed the deal, didn't he? "Thank you," I said blushing. "I like that you aren't a player like others," the man said, making Leo laugh. "Of course sir, she keeps me down," he said, smiling at me fondly to which I returned. "Let's meet up for the deal soon," he said leaving. Leo turned around hugging me tightly. "You know I love you?" he asked. "I know I am amazing," I said, pulling away. He glared at me and I laughed. "Yeah, yeah I love you too," I said.

"I'll see you in a bit," he said, kissing my cheek and leaving to attend to his guests. "Cute," I heard a voice. "Thank you," I said looking at Blake. "Are you two together?" he asked. "No, that was an act," I said sarcastically. He didn't need to know shit. "Asher was about to kill him," Blake muttered as we both grabbed a glass of champagne. "That's all he can do," I muttered. "You are right he has no right to get jealous, but he is," he said. "Blake, I don't care," I said.

"Of course, you don't," he said. "I am sorry about Lilia," I said looking at him seriously. "She knew what she was getting herself into," he gritted through his teeth. "But she was brave enough to handle it," I said. "And yet she died," he said glaring at the ground. "Don't blame yourself for it, Blake. Sometimes, you need to know that it's not your fault that you weren't enough for someone," I said looking at Asher and finishing my drink before leaving Blake to his thoughts.

"What was that asshole saying?" Kyle asked, walking toward me. "Nothing about Asher, if you were wondering," I said, dismissing him and sitting at our table. The event went by as I talked to some people. I wasn't feeling well due to my monthly monster arriving yesterday.

"You haven't eaten anything," I heard Leo say as he put a plate in front of me. "I am not hungry," I said but he took a seat next to me. "Come on," he said, holding the spoon in front of me. I took a bite reluctantly and the food tasted amazing. He chuckled at my face. He continued feeding me as we talked when his assistant called him.

"Please finish this and I'll send more," he said quickly, kissing my forehead and walking away. Elina walked to me smiling. "He is sweet," she said. "I know," I said looking at him as he was all serious talking about business to his clients, a smile making its way to my lips. "Why won't you say yes to him?" she asked. "You know why Elina, why do you even try?" I asked getting up and leaving to stand away from everyone.
