I sat in front of Kyle as the teacher went on and on about the topic. Finally, the lunch bell rang and we all rushed out. I was really hungry today. I grabbed two slices of pizza, some pasta and a strawberry milkshake and sat down at our usual table.
Soon everyone joined in. "So whose essay did you get?" Allisa asked me. "I don't know. I haven't read it yet. She emailed it to us during class. So I am yet to read. But God I don't want some girl's essay who is smitten by Romeo and Juliet," I said sipping my milkshake.
"What why? I mean it is a good book," she said. "Oh No!" Kyle muttered. "It's fine, Ky. I have no complaints about people who believe in it or love it. It's just Romeo and Juliet isn't my cup of tea," I answered. She nodded in understanding.
"So... Did Christian drop you or do I need to punch him again?" I asked. Christian fake glared at me. "No he did," she said as she smiled at him. He smiled back. "8 months?" Blake whispered from beside me. "4 months," I smirked. "That's not possible," Blake scoffed. "We will see now wouldn't we?" I laughed.
My laughter died down as Asher approached the table. "I have to go see my History professor," I said getting up and rushing out. I sighed as I reached my locker. Good Save.
I opened the locker after putting in my combination and grabbed my books. "I rarely find you alone," said a voice. I looked up to find Noah standing there. "Hi, Well what can I say? I have quite a few friends," I laughed as I started walking. "And one, in particular, doesn't seem to leave you alone?" he asked smiling sweetly as he walked beside me.
"Well, He isn't exactly my friend," I said. "Oh I am so sorry I didn't know you were taken," he said backing away. "Oh My Gosh! No! He isn't my boyfriend! We aren't friends," I said. "Oh, so you mean you are free tomorrow?" he asked smirking. "Real smooth. But to answer your question, yes I am," I said smiling. "So would you go on a date with me?" he asked.
"No," I said. His face fell and I laughed. "Noah, I need to get to know you first! You are new in this town! For all, I know you could be a gang leader! I am not saying you are. But let's start as friends. And then see where this goes?" I said. He grabbed my hand and kissed the back of it.
"As you wish princess," he said as he walked away. I smiled at his back. I don't know why even though he seemed like the nicest guy ever. The name he just used didn't give me any butterflies. I walked into class and sat down waiting till the bell rang.

"So I heard Noah has been trying to woo you," Elina said. I looked at her and she wiggled her eyebrows at me. I sighed my muscles ached from the cheerleading practice. "Yeah... He wanted me to go out with him. But I asked him to take things slowly. You know they start as friends. And then see where this leads," I said stopping by my car. "I agree. So about you and Asher...." she trailed off.
"There is nothing. We aren't friends anymore. Not like we were before," I said as my eyes went immediately to him where his car was parked across from mine. "But you guys would look the best together," she said. "Well so did Angelina and Brad. But the best looks don't matter love does," I said as I turned away from him when I saw Christian and Allisa walk to his car.
