"Yeah, Who gave you this?" Elina asked smirking. Oh Boy.
"Uhh...I don't know it was on my desk with the same note I received in the locker," I said smiling. Thank God. Asher's smirk fell making me laugh. "Ohh Kia I don't think it's safe," Kyle said. "Don't worry Ky, It's fine," I said assuring him. He wasn't convinced but I was glad he let it go.
"So did you guys have dinner?" I asked them. They all denied and then we all walked to the dinner area. Since it was a buffet dinner we had a lot of variety to choose from. I just grabbed a plate with two slices of pizza and went over to greet my relatives once again.
After coming back to our table I sat down with the slices still on the plate. Everyone was busy talking about god knows what. "Why haven't you eaten?" Asher asks since he sitting beside me. "You haven't eaten anything since the morning," he said, his eyebrows scrunching up in confusion. How cute.
"I am fine," I said sighing. I was exhausted, though. I had no energy I was going to collapse on my bed. Kyle and Elina were going out since she had some plans for them. And I was not interested in the details if you know what I mean.
Asher grabbed my plate and walked away before I could stop him. And a minute later he came back with a new plate with hot pizza, some pasta, cake, and salad. My eyes widened. He put it in front of me. "EAT," he ordered me. "I am not hungry," I said. "And I don't care," he snapped. I glared at him before eating listening to conversations and saying some things in between.
After a few minutes, I heard him grumble, "I am not hungry," he mimicked me. I looked down to see my plate empty and I gave him a sheepish smile. "How cute," my head snapped to Blake who was smirking. "What the fu*k do you mean?" Asher asked.
"You are taking care of her, Asher I haven't seen you do that in 2 years," he said. I turned to him what does he mean 2 years? Asher's eyes darkened as he got up and left immediately. I looked at Blake but his face had fallen. He just ruined Asher's mood, didn't he? I thought.
"Go!" he said, looking at me and I rushed out in the direction he just walked. "Asher!" "Asher!" I shouted but he didn't stop. "Ash! Stop!" I shouted nearing him. "Leave me the fu*k alone, Kiara," he shouted not turning around. "No!" I said reaching him and standing in front of him. "How long are you going to store your emotions inside you like this? How long? You do need to talk to someone, someday! And I just want you to know that I am here and I will always be here," I said.
His eyes were still dark his jaws clenched. I knew he was angry and it was serious. I slowly took steps toward him, not wanting him to storm out again. He hated attention. When I was inches apart and he didn't move, I slowly placed my hand on his jaw. "I don't know what it is and I won't force you to tell me ever. But it will help to share. You will feel better.
You have made this day very special for me Ash. I can't let you be angry today. I don't want to. I don't know what keeps you at the edge but I hope that whatever you are doing may it complete. But you need to keep your cool you need to take care of yourself, do you promise me that?
