Ghosts Make For Good

Ten minutes was not enough for Luke wanting to apply as many complex guitar riffs with Riya as he wanted to. And it definitely wasn't enough time for Riya to use up her designated space instead of just curling into the corner of Julie's couch, which apparently Luke claimed was his.
Except those ten minutes flew by, and before anyone knew it, a knock came from the door of the garage. Time was up.
Julie sighed heavily while Riya buried her face into her hands, she was certainly not ready to perform any type of song, but she'd try.
Especially when she had Alex giving her shoulder massages before she imploded into a million pieces as he waited to go back behind his drums.
"You got it?" Reluctantly, Riya nodded, thanking Alex for the massage with a smile which he returned.
"I think so." Julie nodded back before rushing to get Flynn.
Riya cracked each of her individual fingers, tapping her feet as she mouthed the words of the song they would soon preform. Above all else she hoped she didn't make a fool of herself by having a finger slip or forgetting the words.
"Hey," Riya looked up from her hands to meet Luke's eyes, he was stood right by Alex's drums, opposite to Riya on the stand-alone microphone by the arm of the couch which she sat on while he jumped in place in anticipation. "You got this."
She sighed, tapping along the pick guard of her guitar before muttering the same words to herself while Julie pushed the doors open to the garage. "I got this."
She almost believed herself.
"Thanks for waiting. We just wanted to rehearse the song so it was perfect, which it's not, but whatever." Flynn took a tentative step inside, body halfway inside while she had her arms crossed over her chest with an unimpressed look.
So far, it wasn't going well.
"No, if I'm gonna hear a song from your imaginary ghost band with your ghost girl," Riya winced at her words but quickly covered the expression up before anyone picked up on it, the last thing she needed was anyone to get defensive on her behalf and ruin all the progress they had done.
Which wasn't much, but it had to count for something.
"I want it to be perfect. So, get back in there. All of you," Flynn pointed accusatory around Julie, as if the boys were around her, before settling into pointing at one specific empty spot to Riya's left. "You too."
"They're not out here." Flynn gave Julie a mocking smile while she brushed past her friend.
"Oh, I know." Julie sighed before closing the doors behind Flynn who was slowly walking to the centre of the room almost crashing directly with Reggie, who jumped out of the way as she moved.
"All right, guys, Riya. Are you all ready?" She flicked the switch on her microphone so the green dot above it lit up before nodding.
"As I'll ever be." The guys all followed suit with their mutters of agreement before Reggie raised his hand as if to ask a question.
"Can you ask her to move," Reggie pointed at Flynn who was still visibly in his way, obliviously staring at the hanging chairs on the ceiling. "I need more space to rock out."
"Yeah!" Luke cheered before fist bumping Reggie, both a little too happy for ghosts who were about to have their secret exposed. Nevertheless, Riya smiled at the pair's antics, even if Alex rolled his eyes at the interaction.
