This novel is not available in mtlnovel, so you'll need to google the raw title. actually the plot is quite good, there's a plot twist in the end. It's just the story is not what I expected. The misunderstanding between MC and ML is not cleared or maybe because I read it on mtl. There are quite pitiful character that actually they could be important but just didn't have enough screen time.
MC loved 2nd son from He family. But then ML scheme her and make her marry him in order to get MC family's support. MC father is a great general, her brother is top scholar worked in Dali temple.
ML is unfavored prince, his mother died early. The empress adopt him and support him to get the throne. ML married MC early. At first they are at odds but slowly warm up. ML ascend and become emperor. He took concubine from powerful families and a foreign princess. He was forced by the empress dowager. But MC didn't know it and she began to treat ML as her monarch not her husband. MC is pregnant when ML went to a war. MC died soon after she gave birth. ML got back and become angry. He sent his child to consort dowager.

I felt pity for MC current brother and the He 2nd son. Current brother didn't know anything until the truth was told to public. He doesn't show up much. He 2nd son is more pitiful. He should be a potential 2nd lead but he never show up. His only purpose is to make ML jealous.
