The story and writing is good it's just not my preference. There's no conflict at all. It's all about daily life.
ML has 2 sons, 5 and 2 yo. His wife died 1 year ago. He left his sons to his teacher's wife. Then he realize his sons was abused a lot. He decided to find a wife who can take care the sons in military. ML is a military doctor not sure what department. It just mentioned he research a lot.
ML met MC via matchmaker. ML is in rush so he told the matchmaker he only got 1 day for matchmaking. The matchmaker then directly arrange 2 people in 1 time, which is MC and a young widow.
MC is from 21st. She transmigrate after OMC suicide. OMC is top student in city, her family is farmer in village. When she is about to enter college, the gov stopped taking student. OMC was forced going back home. She can't do farm work. A lot village men want to marry her but she and the family doesn't want her to settle with uneducated person. While the educated man disdain OMC because she is too poor. OMC has educated man as lover but they broke up because the man want to go back home to city. Then OMC suicide.
MC accept the blind date and met ML. ML directly choose MC since she is soft-spoken. ML married MC but can't register it due to military marriage.
ML took her back to military and picked up his sons. MC cried when she saw the 2 sons. They are skinny and look poor despite ML is rich.
They took back the sons to military house. MC raise them fat. A lot food and cooking descriptions. The sons like MC real fast.
Then another child got orphan, MC and ML took him in. ML realize the child is similar to his friend. At this time it was not mentioned who is the child parent. Whenever it was mentioned it will have sad vibe. The upper staff also will accommodate the child more.
There's unbelievable part that I think it doesn't make sense. MC teach her sons at home. Then the adopted child got into fight. His teacher directly blame him. MC defend the child. Then it was revealed he was bullied and mocked as orphan. MC then threaten to report the teacher as misguiding children. She then demand to teach the class on her own since her child will also enter the school. She will only teach her son class for Chinese lesson. She also ask current teacher to be transferred to logistic part since she is not fit as teacher. The school directly accept her when they saw MC lesson plan and because she is a high school graduate. If it's so easy to get a job as high school graduate, why OMC or MC didn't work in city before she married ML.
MC also join publicity department as freelance... She mentioned beforehand that she can only do light job since she is taking care the children. And the bosses just accept it because she is ML wife... When MC direct boss gave MC big job because she is good, MC complain since she can't leave her children. After that the boss compromised and let her be. Until MC gave birth, there's no news about both job. My thought is who the hell are you arranging your own jobdesk 😂 I really envy it.
The old teacher ask MC if she can go back as teacher. She realize her own mistake and want to improve. MC said she doesn't care and not in position to give permit.
MC gave birth to twin, a son and daughter. Then the adopted son parent came back. Still no explanation why they gave away the son to other. It just mentioned the parent has suffered a lot. ML also visit the grandpa in capital who is in poor area. It was mentioned the grandpa is old chief who cared ML after he become orphan. At that time I thought the parent already died in war or something.
The adopted son moved to next door. His parent is good and got along well with MC and ML. The children still playing together. I stopped reading after MC gave birth. It's too boring for me, I prefer some conflicts. But this is a good daily life novel.
