I got hooked up on early chapters. I even binge read it in 1 night. But once the 1st conflict is done, I really got bored and can't keep reading it. Maybe I'll try to reread it once the translation is complete.
MC mother remarried with a village man Liu Kangsheng in Liujiachun. The man already has 3 sons from 1st wife, all married. MC mother gave birth to a daughter. She is afraid of her husband and the 3 sons with their wives, because she can't give birth to a son. She always afraid the other said she is partial to MC so she treat MC harshly.
MC was sold to a brothel slave trader. She sell her singing and dancing for some times before it's time for selling her virginity. She actually get close to a man so he can redeem her. But the man just came back from out of town and brought a woman. The man didn't come to bid on her first night. MC was sold to an old prince who is perverted and often broke prostitute. But then they are a normal hunter/farmer family. They just lives a bit better because the 1st cousin is a constable. The aunt actually also the family slave who is raised by MC grandma. She then was freed after she married the 1st son aka MC uncle. MC mother was a disaster refugee. MC father got softheart and helped her. Then MC mother also want to redeem herself like MC aunt.
After than comes the boring part. MC starts thinking to open an embroidery shop. It will be long chapters talking about business. And ML who keep coming to see MC but he never did anything. He helps with the idea. ML serve like an add on to the story.
