Summary:
Lin Yiwei was admitted to a top-tier university, spending her weekends immersed in the library all day while working at a convenience store to supplement her living expenses, selling her paintings for pocket money.

Review:
I absolutely won't reread this novel. It should be 2/5 but because I still binge read it in 1 night despite I hate the plot.
From midway, I really don't like MC. I felt she is really egoist despite can't do anything but crying and beg to ML. ML appeared domineering at first but midway he became love brain because of MC.
MC tried to get close to Chi Xiyue because her painting which got award is actually belong to MC brother. MC was from orphanage. She got adopted but not close to adopted parent. The adopted parent died in car accident. MC was rejected by the adopted aunt uncle family. She moved in with Lin Yan, a brother from orphanage (not related by blood). MC can draw because LY teach her. He want MC to go to famous college abroad. He sold painting to get tuition fee for MC. Then he said he'll earn more money when he get back, MC shouldn't find him even if he went missing.
2 years later MC found LY painting as CX's. MC went into same college as CX to get info of LY.
1 night when MC is drunk, she pick up ML in a bar and slept with him. Later when MC get close to CX, she know ML is from Xie family. Xie family seems the most powerful family, Chi is the 2nd. ML is a 3rd son, his mother works as prostitute before becoming a mistress. She died early. ML was taken back to Xie family when he was 10 yo. He was bullied a lot, he tried to make his father acknowledge him and gain more power.
He agreed to engage with CX for company cooperation even if he didn't love CX. He then met MC and attracted to her. ML didn't know why MC tried to get close to CX. ML warn MC not to ruin CX because CX is essential for his plan to get power.
MC was chased by CX brother who repeatedly threatened MC with violence. And everytime MC got caught, ML comes to the rescue.
MC then just pat her ass after got saved. She repeatedly said she doesn't need ML help won't be his lover.
More campus drama. MC knew LY is imprisoned in CX basement. She want to free her brother but was stopped by ML.
ML sent her away to UK for art study. While he get engage to CX. He promise to help MC but they can't rush. He can't ruin CX family but he'll make MC brother escaped. ML ask MC to become his girlfriend, MC repeatedly answer to choose between her and CX or his power. ML plan to use CX family until he got full control of his family power then he'll marry MC.
ML met MC brother who got mental sickness and malnutrition due to imprisoned. ML found his phone which contains MC messages. He read MC love message to LY. ML got enrage and didn't believe MC anymore. He refuse to save LY. MC keep begging him to save LY and said she loves him now. This is where I began to dislike MC. She keep begging and said love ML but she never thought about ML. She want her goal to be achieved by ML help with a risk ML lifelong goal will be ruined. Whereas she herself can't do anything at all.
It's understanding if ML got jealous of LY. But MC who keep begging to save LY and forcing ML only adding oil. Why don't you at least say save LY but I'll never met him again. Instead MC fake pregnancy. The pregnancy turns real. MC met her real family who is powerful in UK. She then directly ditch ML and refuse him. She plan to use her family power to freed LY.
MC said to ML that she'll abort the baby so it won't disrupt ML plan. She also doesn't want to be tied to ML. But she waver and eventually gave birth.
For a year, despite want to save LY with her family power, she did nothing at all but gave birth...
ML knew MC didn't abort their child. He continue to save LY. He fake accident and said LY died. MC never doubted ML who cause LY accident. She just want CX family ruined. She came back when her daughter is 1 year old. Then a run and catch drama between ML and MC.
Somehow CX got news and took MC daughter. She threw her from 2nd floor. Amazingly MC catch her from below. ML the coaxed CX to believe him again. ML took the surveillance records. ML ask MC not to do anything and promise her that he'll ruin CX. MC agreed and once again she do nothing.
On the wedding day of ML and CX, he showed LY portrait inside the wedding cake. MC then directly appear and questioned CX. CX got frightened. The police captured CX and her father. CX company was left to CX brother who can't run the company.
ML is disown by his family. After that MC then thought the consequences for ML who ruin CX family for her. But again she only thought about it. She is still in happy mode when she met LY. LY loves MC, he want MC to break up with ML. I skipped a lot chapter. In the end LY kidnap MC and want to die together. ML save MC, LY fell into the sea.
At the end, MC uncle want to sow discord between her and her aunt. Her uncle is afraid MC will take over the family. MC said she won't take which is not hers. She has her own company that I assume also from the family and compete with her own family main company.
