The story seems good. I stopped reading because the mtl makes me suffer... I'll wait for the translation, hopefully it will continue until the end.
MC is from Sang family. Her father is 2nd child. Her mother died early. Her father is not favored by MC grandparent. He was a small record officer when MC was a child. After 10 years he move up and become 4th ranking officer.
MC was bullied by her cousin and other ladies. She always can't argue and will avoid them as much as she can. Her older sister is in harem. she doesn't have a child, MC father warn her to conceive so she won't be buried alive when the emperor died.
MC father tried to curry favor to ML. He send MC to seduce ML but failed. ML is from Xie family. His mother is grand princess, his father is a prime minister. He went to politic early and intend to take over the family control. He is famous as ruthless and only focus on his family wellbeing. He won't bother others without profit.
MC is a bit childlike, innocent and can't think much. ML keep ignoring her. When ML left, MC come in to the same room. She saw a book. The book contains she and ML interactions in detail. She thought the book is ML and he secretly loves her. That's why ML confidant is attentive to her. The truth is the book is wrote by ML confidant. He is sad because ML never get close to woman so he wrote about ML and MC because he felt MC is pure and good.
MC met ML several times. MC thought ML like her so sometimes she interpret his coldness as cover. ML also thought MC likes him and trying to seduce him.
MC father tried to get close to 5th prince after ML rejected MC. The 5th prince mother is a maid. His mother died by assassination. The emperor like the maid because she was beautiful. The 5th prince is favored because of this. He like MC and want to take her as concubine.
MC saw 5th prince humiliate the crown prince. She become afraid and ran into ML. She hide below the table when ML talks to 5th prince. 5th prince saw his jade that he gave to MC.
MC father agreed to make MC as 5th prince concubine because he is a gentleman and favored by the emperor. The 5th prince forced him to call MC when they are drinking at night. He also forced to leave MC with him. MC father got angry and hit him. Several days later, MC father got arrested due to old case. The case is handled by 5th prince. 5th prince gave 3 days for MC to beg him.
MC beg ML, ML intend to help her but he didn't make it clear. So MC thought he refuse to help her. The next day she went to 5th prince. The 5th prince drugged her with aphrodisiac. Then he was caught by ML. ML helps MC out.
MC father is released. MC lives went back normal. She was invited in princess gathering. She was stuck with ML again. I stopped reading here.
