Date night

"You will not stop, will you?"

I instantly smiled as I heard her voice. Like music to my ears.

I was downstairs in my workshop, tinkering around as I usually do, when she came to me. It was early in the morning, which would be odd for me to be up, during any ordinary day, in the past.

Right.

The past.

Everything seemed now quite distant.

Everything now seemed quite different.

Everything was a whole lot better.

I felt as I never felt before.

I felt so happy I was even afraid to say it.

Or, as a matter of fact, think it.

It seemed so good to be true.

In my life, everything seemed to end up badly. So, those past wonderful days, I had to be honest, I feared and actually waited for something bad to eventually happen.

That never did, thankfully.

Would I finally get my break?

"Stop what?" I moved closer to her, dropping the tools I was holding

"Coming here. Take a break. Just relax"

I instantly smiled "I could not be more relaxed than now, Pep"

Shyly, she showed me her perfect smile.

It had been a few days since everything happened.

With us, I mean.

We had returned to Malibu and I was actually surprised she had been staying at the mansion, mostly.

It had been also quite a hard time for me, if you know what I mean. I was scared to do anything, with her, mostly. I really did not want to do anything she did not want me to.

But damn... I was horny.

If the usual sexual tension, we were quite used to that probably since we first met, was quite troubling for me sometimes, you can just imagine now. Now I had her as my girlfriend.

My lady.

Miss Potts was my lady.

Now I could kiss her anytime I want.

Now I had her next to me during the nights.

Dear god.

"Tony?"

"Uh?"

I suddenly returned to reality, facing her and realizing I did not listen to any word she had just said to me.

Taking a deep breath, she rolled her eyes "I just cooked breakfast, come and join me? Or would you rather stay here with your... toys?"

My eyes widened "They are not toys... you're going to break Dummy and U's hearts."

"Indeed, Miss Potts" Jarvis added

Pepper chuckled "Come and join me, Stark"

I smiled, immediately following her upstairs "I really want you to stop cooking you know" I spoke "I mean, I love your meals, I just don't want you to be busy with them. Just order in and relax yourself" I hugged her from behind

She smiled as we kept walking in that position "I really don't mind, Tony" she whispered "It's not like it is wearing"

"Yes it is... I've tried it"
