“TONY! YOU ARE GOING TO COME HERE, NOW!” I heard Stane yelling through the phone call.

I groaned, holding my head “No…”

“IT IS THE FIFTH MEETING YOU FAIL THIS WEEK!”

I took a deep breath, damn, I did not feel well at all. I could not recall most of the previous night’s events… in fact… I could barely recall the events on the past few nights.

I was getting unstoppable without knowing it.

“TONY!” Obie yelled once again

“A-Alright, I’m coming….” I mumbled, not wanting his yelling voice to make my headache worse.

“Sir, you have 143 unread messages”

“Any from Pepper?”

“No, Sir”

“Delete them all” I walked into the shower “keep trying to contact her”

Gosh, I was even worse than before she first made an appearance in my life. That was a fact. But no, that was not what concerned me.

No.

What concerned me was that I did feel well with her around. I felt a lot better and in a better mood when she was around. Even if she was constantly determined not to give into my charms, constantly dragging me into meetings, forcing me to eat healthy food and refusing to serve me alcohol.

Even… if she was only there for a few days.

Oh, she has to come back.

Yeah, maybe I was a bit of an asshole to her.

But I am to everyone, so… well…

Maybe I should apologize. After all, no one else acts the way she does with me, either.

“Sir, I have some news” J, spoke, as Dummy approached me with some really awful coffee. I think I was already used to the almost sugarless coffee Pepper served me, every day.

“On Pep?”

“Oh no, Miss Potts still does not answer the phone, Sir.”

“Oh”

“I have a few news on you, actually”

“Me?”

“Yes, sir”

“Oh…”

I looked down, taking another sip of the shitty coffee. Another scandal, of course.

It could not be anything else.

“You are all over the news again, sir. With no clothing, but perfectly fetching”

I giggled “Thanks, J.” I rolled my eyes “So… just another one, right?”

“I am afraid so, Sir”

“Did I do anything… well, you know…”

“That you should have not?”

“No, I do that all the time. I mean… something serious. Did I do something serious?”

“Not that I took notice of, Sir.”

“Alright, thanks buddy…”

I sadly smiled, patting U, who was now approaching me to take the empty cup of coffee.

“You guys won’t go anywhere, at least” I whispered

“No, Sir” Jarvis whispered, moments later “We are home”
