“What the hell, Obie? What’s wrong?”

“Tony, there has been an accident. I’m… oh… do not…!” he suddenly started to speak to someone who obviously was next to him “Look, champion, I have to stay here, but I’m sending my driver to get you there, he’ll bring you to me”

“WHAT HAPPENED?!” I snapped

“Tony… there has been an accident. But I need you to get here. Ok? It’s ok… just.. you have to come here.”

“Accident? Who? Father?”

“Your father and mother, Tony. MY driver is driving as we speak”

“Obie…?”

I then felt the call dropping “OBIE?!”

I think I immediately got soberer than ever. The hangover was gone.

Everything was gone… even Maya.

What the hell happened?

You can’t just call someone and say this!

WHAT ACCIDENT?!

HOW ARE MY PARENTS?!

I kicked a bottle I found on my way, trying to release my jitters and frustration.

If you want to give any news, you wait for someone. You don’t just get them worried and desperate! Even that or you simply say it.

I tried to call him again.

And again.

And again.

He would not answer the damn phone, anymore.

“Mr. Stark?!” I was suddenly called by a security man, within MIT’s perimeter

“Yes?”

“Someone is waiting for you at the main entrance”

I did not even reply, I immediately ran there.

“What the hell happened?” I quickly asked as I entered the car of Obie’s drive.

“I am not allowed to speak a word, Mr. Stark.”

“F*CK YOU!” I snapped “Just bloody tell me what happened to my parents!”

He remained shut about it as I kept insulting him. It was useless.

I was just wasting my time and strength with him.

“There are still no news on The Stark’s conditions, after the tragic accident that took place just moments ago….”

It was the radio that called my attention

“What?!” I immediately asked. “NO!” I stopped the driver to turn the radio off “WHAT HAPPENED?!”

I was getting seriously worried and scared. Their conditions, they mentioned?

They were hurt?

What the hell happened?

“… lost completely control of the car, which was completely destroyed. We are now here, at the entrance, waiting for any updates about their…”

I was eagerly trying to hear everything, my desperation growing by second, but I was no capable of stopping the driver from turning the radio off this time.

“NO! Turn it back on!”

“Weird world we live in, don’t you agree?” he said in a weird tone.
