Harrison's POV
"Come sit down," Grams said when I walked in. I walked to the living room and sat on the couch. Grams came and sat in the chair across from me. "Do you want anything to drink or eat?" Grams asked. "No, Grams. I just need to know what you know about the Lockwood wolves," I replied. "Are you asking about the Lockwood wolves in general, or are you asking about our gamma family?" She asked. "Grams, you said you knew why I was here," I stated. "I do know why you are here. Do you know why you are here?" She asked. "Grams, why the run-around?" I asked, getting frustrated.

"Harrison, I'm not giving you the run-around. I have to make sure you're asking for the right reasons," she stated. "Grams, Izzy is my mate, and some things happened that caused her to reject me. I just found out she is in danger. Grams I have to find her and keep her safe. I love her and can't stand the thought of anyone hurting her or taking her from me," I replied honestly. "That's the right answer. I had to make sure you wanted information because you love her, not because you want to use her," Grams replied.

"Use her? For what? Are they looking for her to use her? I asked. "Harrison Izzy is the first female born into the Lockwood bloodline. Her mate, when marked and mated, will be given a gift of strength to match hers. The two of them will be the strongest wolves in the world, making them almost unstoppable. People are looking for her to mark and mate her. They want that gift. The rogue king wants to rule over all of us, and he thinks he can if he gets her to mark him. He does not know that only her destined mate can be blessed with the gift. If he finds out he can't get it; he will kill her, making sure no one else gets it," she replied.

"How do you know this?" I asked. "When Natalie brought Anna here, I was a little girl. The moon goddess came to me and told me I had to ensure our family kept her and her family safe. She told me one day, a female would be born and that this female would be strong. She said things would happen to make the girl leave the pack putting her life and everyone else's lives in danger. In order for us to keep her and everyone else safe, she has to be with her mate." Grams stated.

"I have to find her, Grams. I can't live without her. If she dies, I die. I have to go,' I said as I jumped up and ran for the door. "Harrison, wait," Grams shouted. "Grams, I have to find her,' I stated. "I know you do, but you have to be careful. If anyone finds out she is your mate, they may kill or use you to get to her. The rogue king would probably make her mark him to save your life, and then he will kill you. Right now, no one knows who her mate is or that she has even found her mate. Don't go around telling people she is your mate, or we all die," She said as she walked up to me and held my hands. "Promise me, Harrison, you will be careful," Grams said as she hugged me. "Grams, I promise I will be careful. I will not do anything that will put her life in danger." I replied as I hugged her back.

Alpha Lewis's POV
I left Harrison and went down to the cells. I approached my treacherous ex-mate's cell and looked at her. She disgusts me. I can't believe I fucking chose her to be Harrison's mother. Harrison doesn't know she is not his biological mother. My fated mate Hailey is his mother. She died giving birth to him. I never told him because he would want to know who his mother's family is. She made me promise to keep him safe and not tell him. Hailey is a princess.

Her father asked me to hide her from his banished beta. His beta Owen wanted Hailey as his mate so he could be king. King Drake refused. Owen tried to rape Hailey to impregnate her. When King Drake walked in and saw this, he beat Drake within an inch of his life and then banished him. Not many people know this, but the rogue king is Owen. Owen vowed to kill Hailey and any children she would have that were not his. He can never know Harrison is Hailey's son and the rightful King.

I don't even want to know what Owen would do if he found out that the mate he wants now is the fated mate of Hailey's son. No one but a select few know who Harrison's mother is. Diana doesn't even know. I wish I had chosen someone else to be his mother. If I had, none of this would be happening.

"Lewis, I knew you would come to see me. I'm so sorry. I thought I was doing what was best for our pack," Diana cried, pulling me from my thoughts. "Diana, what was the plan? The real plan. I know you've been fucking Paul, and you were supposed to be his mate once Harrison mated Michelle. What was supposed to happen next?" I asked.

"How do you know any of that?" She asked. She is clearly shocked that I know all of this already. "I'm not stupid, Diana. You are nothing but a selfish gold-digging whore," I stated. "How can you say that? I raised your fucking son for 20 years, and what do I get for that? Thrown in a cell," she cried. "Stop with the bullshit. I have a theory I'm going to run by you. Let me know how close I am. Ok. So my theory is that after Harrison mated Michelle, you were going to reject me and run to Paul. Then you guys planned to kill me, then eventually Harriosn, so you both can get my pack and the pack's money. Does that sound about right?" I asked.

The look of shock on her face was enough for me to know I was right. "No, Lewis, I was never going to leave you. I love you, baby," she cried. "You don't know how to love anyone, so stop with the fake crying. I stopped loving you a long time ago. You and Michelle will be killed tonight for treason. You both drugged the future Alpha and planned to kill the Alpha and the future Alpha. I hope you rot in hell, Diana," I stated.

"No, you can't! You have no proof," she yelled. "I have all the proof I need. Michelle, don't bother trying to link your father. Your cell is coated in silver, and he, too, will be dead soon," I said as I looked at a crying Michelle in the cell next to Diana's. "Please don't kill us or my dad. Please," she begged. "You made your choices. These are the consequences of those choices," I replied. "I fucking hate you, Lewis," Dianna screamed as I walked away. "The feeling is mutual bitch," I replied as I kept walking.

I went back to my office to wait for Harrison. I didn't have to wait long. "What did you find out?" He asked. I told him what happened in the cells. He was shocked by their plan. He couldn't believe his mother would plan to kill him. I think it's time I told him the truth. I hate to see him hurt like this. "Harrison, I have to tell you something else," I said as I sat in the chair beside him.

"Dad, that will have to wait. I found out some information from Grams, and I have to find Izzy. I've already got a group of warriors together to go with me. Grams said I couldn't let anyone know I am Izzy's mate, or the rogue king would try and kill me or use me to get to her. He wants to mark her so he can get blessed with strength and take over. If he finds out he won't get the blessing because he is not her mate, he will kill her. I have to get to her first," he said nervously.

"I'm going to go with you, but I must tell you this first. Diana is not your mother," I said as I took his hands into mine. "What do you mean she isn't my mother? If she isn't, then who is?" He asked. I took a deep breath and told him about Hailey and what Owen had vowed. I also told him he was the rightful king.
