Izzy's POV
I slowly open my eyes, but everything is blurry. I blink my eyes a few times to get them to focus. When they finally do focus, I am stunned. My eyesight has been enhanced by at least 100 times. Okay, so I might be exaggerating just a little. I used to see very well, but now I can see everything. I'm lying in bed looking at the ceiling, and I can see every paint stroke and every crack in the paint. I hear a loud ass moan come from my left. I jumped at how loud it was.

I look to my left, and Harrison is also stairing at the ceiling. "Are you ok?" I whispered. He jumped up and looked at me with wide eyes. "Why did you yell that?" he shouted. "I didn't yell. Why are you shouting?" I asked. I can hear footsteps coming up the stairs. I take a whiff and know it's Celeste and Alice. "Come in," I shout. Harrison covers his ears.

"I see you guys are awake, and your senses are already working," Celeste said as she walked in the door with Alice behind her. "What is going on? Why is everyone yelling?" Harrison asked. "No one is yelling. It is your enhanced senses. Julian and I are going to help you adjust to them. Would you like to see yourselves?" Celeste asked. "Why? Have we changed?" I asked. "Take a look," Alice said as she handed me a handheld mirror.

I take the mirror and look at my reflection. My face is the same, but my eyes are not. My eyes are still aqua, but instead of my eyeballs being outlined with black like everyone else's, they are outlined with red. They look weird but cool at the same time. I pass the mirror to Harrison while looking at his eyes. His hazel eyes are also now outlined with red.

"Why the red?" I asked. "It's the vampire in you," Julius said as he walked in. "Perfect timing, as always," Celeste smiled. "Yes, that is one of my best qualities. Always being in the right place at the right time," Julius chuckled. "How are you guys feeling?" Alice asked. "I have a headache from sense overload, but other than that, I feel fantastic," I replied. "Same," Harrison replied. "Luckily, we can help you with that," Julius said as he came and stood at the foot of the bed.

For the last 2 hours, Julius, Celeste, and Alice helped us focus and get some control over our senses. It was enough to permit us at least to leave our room. When I first walked out of the room, the noise and the smells were almost too much. I had to take a deep breath and concentrate on blocking them out.

We walked to Alpha Dravin's office, where Dad and Drew were waiting for us with Alpha Lewis. "How are you feeling, sweetheart?" Dad asked as he hugged me. "I feel great. I've never felt better," I replied as I hugged him back. "Love the eyes. They are badass," Drew said as he hugged Harrison. I pulled away from Dad and smiled at Drew and Harrison, hugging. It's the first time they have seen each other since the rejection. Harrison was hugging Drew with tears in his eyes. "I'm so sorry Drew. You have to know I would never purposely hurt Izzy or you," Harrison cried.

"I know, man. I'm sorry about how things went down. I should have known better. You are my brother and always have been. I'm sorry I reacted the way I did," Drew cried. "You have nothing to apologize for. You were doing what any brother would have done for their sister. There was no way for you to know I was drugged. Hell, I didn't even know what was happening," Harrison replied. "Awe, Dad, look how cute they are," I laughed. "Absolutely adorable," Dad chuckled. Harrison and Drew broke apart and flipped us off.
