Celeste's POV
I honestly didn't think Izzy would agree so fast. I thought I was going to have to convince her. I didn't know about combining our blood until last night. The Moon goddess visited me in a dream. She said The Rogue King was the strongest he had ever been. He is a hybrid. He has had several rogue vampires bite him and release their venom. He is also using black magic witches. She said Julius and I have to change Izzy into a Tribrid, and she will change Harrison. She said it was the only way we could win. She gave me the spell to combine our blood. She said we would know when the time was right. When Julius arrived, I pulled him aside and asked if the moon goddess had visited him. She had given him the same dream.
When I saw Harrison was dying, I knew it was time. Julius had to bite his tongue before he bit into Izzy's wrist; he had to make sure his blood also got into her system. I then sliced my palm open. I had Ruby, Alice, Henry, and Westley form a circle around us and put a protection barrier around us. When Julius pulled his fangs out, I dripped my blood into the puncture wounds. "With the blood of the Queen witch, the vampire King, and the Lockwood Wolf, we offer the blessing of the moon goddess for the tribid. Goddess bless the Tribids," I chanted. When my blood was in her system, I shouted for her to mark Harrison.
About 5 seconds after Izzy marks Harrison, his eyes fly open. His eyes are glowing. He marks Izzy. When he sinks his teeth in her, the wind picks up around us inside our protection barrier. When Harrison and Izzy pulled apart, Harrison kissed her. When they broke from the kiss, this sonic shock wave exploded from them. It was stronger than the first one when Ruby unbound Izzy, Drew, and Andrew's wolves.
You can feel the power in the air; it's almost suffocating. Then I hear the growl. I look over and see the Rogue King. He is not happy. He knows Izzy has marked her mate; everyone knows and can feel it. "They are not ready. Leave," I hear the goddess's voice ring through my head. "We have to go," I stated.
When I explained they weren't ready to fight, Harrison had a deadly look in his eyes. He wanted nothing more than to rip the rogue King apart. Thankfully Izzy calmed him down. When Harrison shifted, his wolf matched Izzy's with one difference, his white strip was thicker.
When Ruby said watching Andrew, Drew, and Izzy's beasts slaughter the rogues was a sight to see, she wasn't lying. They moved in sync with each other. I've never seen anything like it. It was actually quit beautiful. It really does look like a composed ballet. Their beasts knew exactly what to do.
"Mom behind you," Alice shouted. I turned in time to see a wolf sneaking up on me. I released a gush of wind and threw him back into a tree. Then I pulled up roots from the tree and secured him to the tree. I looked around for Julius. He was ripping the throat out of a wolf. "Julius. We have to get everyone out of here," I shouted. "Ok," he replied. "Alice, Westley, we need a shield," I ordered. Alice and Westley then focused all of their energy on producing a shield.
We fought our way back to the road, where vehicles were waiting for us. When Harrison shifted back, he ended up passing out. Ruby and Westley also passed out. "What's wrong with them?" Izzy asked. "Ruby and Westley used too much energy, and Harrison's body is changing. They all need rest," I replied. We all loaded up into the vehicles. Andrew started driving. "Where are we going?" I asked. "We are all going to the Moon Shadow Pack to check injuries. Don't worry, Declan knows you guys are with us, and no one is to be harmed," Andrew replied.
When we pulled into the pack, I was amazed. I've never been in a pack before, and honestly, it's not what I expected. It is more like a town. I envisioned them living in log cabins or tents. Don't ask me why; that's just what I envisioned. We pulled up outside what looked like a hospital. We have more wounded than I had thought. "Henry. Are you ok?" I asked worriedly. Henry is lying on a stretcher covered in blood. "I will be," he replied. I looked around and saw pack members running up to help.
"We have to put a barrier around the pack," I told no one in particular. "We have to protect the innocent," I added. "What do you need?" Andrew asked. "I need permission from the alpha," I replied. "Dravin. Has anyone seen Dravin?" Andrew shouted. "I'm right here," a tall, muscular man said. "Dravin, Celeste wants to put a protection barrier around the pack, but she can't do it without your permission," Andrew stated. "What will the barrier do?" The man, I assume, is Dravin asked. "It will keep the rogues out for a little while protecting everyone here. They are going to follow us, and I can't allow all these innocent people to be hurt or killed," I replied. "You would do that for my pack?" He asked. "Yes, of course. Why wouldn't I?" I asked. "I just never thought a witch would want to help my people," he replied. "Listen, I know some wolves hate witches and Vampires and vice versa, but I'm not one of them. The way I see it, we are all children of the moon goddess, making us family. I will always protect my family," I replied honestly.
So many emotions ran across his face. Confusion being the first, then understanding and gratitude. "You have my permission," he replied. "Thank you," I responded. "Alice, grab Kia and Aubree. We have to put up a barrier," I ordered. Alice nodded, then went to get Kia and Aubree. They returned less than a minute later. "Alpha, I will explain what we are about to do. I will take the north border, Alice will take the south border, Kia will take the East, and Aubree will take the west. We will chant our protection spell, and it will cast a protection dome over your whole pack. Now I will need two wolves and two vampires to accompany each of us. We will not be able to stop once we start, or it won't work, so we will need protection," I stated. "Ok. I'll get them," he replied.
Alpha Dravin quickly arranged our protection. We split up and went to our designated spots. Izzy came with me, Andrew went with Alice, and Drew went with Aubree. Harrion's father, Lewis went with Kia. We had to have a member from the same pack with each of us to let us know when they were in place. "Everyone is in their places," Izzy notified me. "Tell them 3 seconds," I stated. Izzy nodded to let me know she notified them. I took a deep breath and counted to three.
"We protect the innocent from those who seek to harm. From the North, the South, the East, and the West, we protect all those inside and keep them safe from the evil outside. By the mother of the moon, we protect thee. Blessed be," I chanted three times. I felt our magic combine and weave itself into a barrier much stronger than I had anticipated. "Thank you, moon goddess," I whispered.
