I woke up with a killer headache. What the fuck happened? I remember going to the compound and protecting our people, but that's it. "We used too much energy," Ravyn whispered. "Are you ok?" I asked. "Yeah, just exhausted. We can't do that again. It took too much out of us. We are lucky we weren't attacked," Ravyn replied. "I know. We have to keep practicing. Hopefully, it will get easier," I stated. "It will," she replied.

When Ravyn and I stopped talking, I heard voices outside my room. "When will she wake up?" Harrison asked. "She should be waking up soon. She is just exhausted and needs rest?" a man replied. I assume he is the doctor. "And what about the baby?" Harrison asked. "The baby? What baby?" I ask Ravyn. "Shh, I'm trying to listen," she replied. "The babies are good," the doctor replied. "Babies?" Harrison asked. "Yes, alpha, Luna Izzy is pregnant with twins," the doctor replied. "Twins?" Harrison asked. I can feel how happy he is. "Yes, Alpha, twins, the doctor replied.

"Ravyn. Are we pregnant? I asked. "Yes, she replied happily. "Twins?" I asked. "Yes, she replied. "Oh my god, Ravyn. How can we be pregnant right now? We have a fight coming. We are supposed to save everyone. How can we do that if we can't even fight?" I asked. I won't put my babies in danger, but I won't stand by while people are dying. "Our babies will be fine. We can still fight and shift. Our babies are protected. We are tribrids. Our babies are protected by magic and a vampire-strength placenta. Our womb is the safest place for them," Ravyn replied. "I hope you are right, Ravyn," I said as I ran my hand over my flat belly.
"I am right. Ask Celeste when she comes in," Ravyn replied.

"Hello, Luna. It's nice to see you awake," the doctor said as he walked in. "What? She's awake?" Harrison asked as he rushed into the room. He ran up to me and kissed my forehead. "God baby, I was so scared. I'm sorry I wasn't here when you woke up. I was going to get us some food," Harrison said as he held my hand and kissed it. "It's ok, baby. So we're pregnant?" I asked. Harrisons's face lit up with pure happiness. "Yes, baby, with twins," he smiled.

"Excuse me, Luna. How are you feeling?" the doctor asked. "My head is killing me," I replied. "Is anything else hurting you?" the doctor asked. I slowly lifted my arms and wiggled my fingers. Then I raised my legs and wiggled my toes. I stretched to see if I had any pain in my back or stomach. I felt no pain. "No, sir. I feel fine except for the headache," I replied. "That's good. A headache is to be expected. You used a lot of energy. As you know, you are pregnant with twins. Congratulations. Both babies are doing great," the doctor smiled. "How far along am I?" I asked.

" We need to talk; it's important," Celeste said as she entered our room. "Can it wait a few more minutes?" Harrison asked. "I'm sorry, but it can't. Excuse me, doctor, can you give us a few minutes?" Celeste asked. "Sure. Everything looks great. I'll come back and check on you in a little bit," the doctor smiled. "Thank you, Doctor May," Harrison said as he shook the doctor's hand. "You're welcome. Call me if you need anything," Doctor May said before walking out.

I'm still shocked that I am pregnant, not just pregnant, but pregnant with twins. "Izzy, sweetie, I know your processing, and this is such a bad time, but we don't have much time before the king is killed, "Celeste started. "What are you talking about?" Harrison asked. "After Kyle healed your father. Oh yeah, sorry, your father is healed. Anyway, when Kyle finished, he was helping heal the wounded when Serina fell to the floor. Brooke noticed Serina was having a vision, so she wrote down everything Serina said.

"Wait a minute. Healed your father? What happened to Lewis? Is anyone else hurt? Does Owen know what happened yet?" I asked. I'm so confused. I had a protection spell on everyone. How did Lewis get hurt? "Shit, sorry. Forgot you don't know what happened," Celeste smiled awkwardly. "Baby, I'm going to give you the short version. I promise to give you all the details after we handle whatever this is. Dad fought Owen. After you passed out, your protection spell broke. Owen hurt Dad pretty bad. I ended up killing Owen. We saved everyone and had a few injuries, no deaths," Harriosn replied. "I have so many questions, but they can wait," I replied. "I promise to answer all of them," Harrison said as he kissed my forehead.
