We let our wolves run for a couple of hours. They had so much fun just being together. After we shifted back, Dad, Drew, and I sat on a log talking. "Happy Birthday, Izzy," Dad said as he handed me a small box. I couldn't even speak. I felt my eyes burn with the unshed tears that were building up. "Open it, baby," he said with a smile as he wiped a stray tear from my cheek. I opened the box, and the damn broke. Tears just flowed down my face. I sat there looking at my mother's wedding band. "I hope you don't mind that I gave her engagement ring to Drew?" Dad asked shyly. "I don't mind," I whispered. Dad wiped the tears from my face.

Your mother always said that when the 2 of you turned 18, she was going to give Drew her engagement ring so he could give it to his mate, and she was going to give you her band to wear and pass down. She said this way, you both had a piece of her to pass on to your kids," Dad said as he wiped a tear from his eyes. "Thank you, Dad. I love it," I said as I hugged him. "You're welcome, sweetheart," he said as he cleared his throat, trying to cover up the fact that he was crying.

"Here, sis. Happy Birthday," Drew said as he handed me a box. I took it and opened it. I was shocked by what was in it. It's a brand-new phone. "I know you are planning on leaving for college soon, and you don't have a phone. I've already programmed my number and Dad's number in there. You don't have to worry about the bill. You're on my contract. I hope you like it," Drew said nervously. "Drew, I love it. Thank you so much," I said as I hugged him.

After talking for another 45 minutes, I remembered I was supposed to meet with Alpha Lewis. "I'm sorry to cut this short. I have a meeting with Alpha Lewis that I have to get to," I stated apologetically. "It's ok, sweetie. Do you have any plans after your meeting?" Dad asked. "I don't. I usually go to a bar and flirt with the human boys," I replied honestly. "Well, that sounds fun. I'm down to go out tonight," Drew smiled excitedly. "Before you guys run off and do that, can we have dinner first?" Dad asked. "I would like that," I replied with tears in my eyes.

"Izzy sweetie, I'm sorry I haven't been there for you, but I'm here for you now, and I'm not going anywhere," Dad said as he hugged me tight. "I'm sorry, too, and I'm not going anywhere. You're stuck with us," Drew said as he joined our hug. "Promise?" I asked through my tears. "Promise," they both replied.

"Alpha Lewis, I'll be there soon. I'm sorry I'm running late," I linked Alpha Lewis. "It's ok, Izzy. Just come in the morning. Spend time with your family," he replied. "Are you sure?" I asked. "Positive," he replied. "Scratch that. Alpha Lewis said I could see him in the morning," I said with a smile. "Awesome. I need a shower before we go anywhere, though," Drew replied. "Yeah, you do; you smell like ass," I said as I waved my hand in front of my nose. "If I smell like ass, it's because of you, little sister," Drew laughed. "I hate to break it to you both, but we all stink and could use a shower," Dad laughed.

The three of us got into my Bronco. "Nice ride, sis. When did you get this?" Drew asked. "Mr. Rivers gave it to me today for my birthday. Isn't it great?" I stated happily. "I owe Mr. Rivers a debt of gratitude for taking care of my baby girl when I was too stupid and depressed to do it," Dad said with shame laced into every word. "It's ok, Daddy, your here now," I said as I took his hand in mine. "You haven't called me Daddy in a long time," Dad said with unshed tears in his eyes. "I know. I missed you," I said as I squeezed his hand. "I've missed so much of your guy's lives. How can you guys forgive me so easily?" Dad asked. "Because you are our dad, and we love you. We were all grieving and pushed each other away. It wasn't just you, Dad," Drew stated. "I love you guys so much," Dad cried. "We love you too," Drew and I replied through our own tears.

I dropped Drew off at the packhouse, and Dad and I headed home. Dad went to his room to get ready. I went to mine. I went straight to my bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw the biggest smile on my face. I can't remember the last time I smiled like this, a real genuine smile, or the last time I was actually this happy.

I quickly showered and shaved. I blow-dried my hair and then walked into my closet. I pulled out the little silk black spaghetti strap tunic dress I had just bought yesterday. I put on black thongs and then pulled my dress on. I put on my lace-up knee-high black leather boots.

When I was done lacing my boots, I stood and looked in the mirror. Damn, I look good if I say so myself. I left my hair down, showing off my new white streak on the left side of my face. I added a little black eyeliner, light brown eyeshadow, and nude lipstick. I like the natural look. My eyeshadow is just a tad bit darker than my tan skin.

I walked downstairs to meet with my dad. "Wow, baby girl, you look stunning. When did you grow into a beautiful woman?" He asked as he hugged me. "You look just like your mother," he added as he hugged me tight. "Thank you, Dad," I replied as I hugged him back. "Let's go get your brother," Dad said as we broke our hug. "Yes, let's," I replied excitedly.

This is the first birthday since I was seven that I'd be spending with my family, my actual family. I didn't realize just how much I missed them and needed them until today. I thought I would be alone for the rest of my life. I'm so happy and excited. I'm on cloud nine, and nothing can bring me down from it.

Dad and I got into my new baby, and I drove to the packhouse. Dad called Drew when we left the house. Dad and I got out and stood beside my baby, and waited for Drew. "Um, Izzy, sweetie, do you always get this much attention?" Dad asked as he looked around. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You really don't notice all these guys looking at you like you are their next meal?" Dad asked. I wasn't paying attention before, but I looked around now and noticed a few guys standing around looking at me; all of them had a hungry look in their eyes and a smile on their faces.

"That's normal, Daddy. I just ignore them," I replied with a smile. "Damn, sis, where are your clothes," Drew said as he ran down the stairs and tried covering me up. "Get off of me, you goof," I laughed as I swatted him away. "Seriously, um, you need to put some more clothes on," Drew said with a blush spreading through his cheeks.

"Stop it, dork. I'm 18. Besides, you wouldn't complain if you had seen someone else dressed like this," I stated with a smirk. "You're right because someone else wouldn't be my sister. Now I have to watch out for these fucking hungry wolves that want to devour my sister," Drew pouted. I couldn't help but laugh. "I love you, dork. Now let's see what you're wearing," I said as I gently pushed him away.

I just now noticed what Dad was wearing. Dad is wearing a pair of black dress pants with a white button-up long sleeve collared shirt. He has the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He looked good. Drew is wearing a pair of black jeans with a white t-shirt. He had a black button-up short sleeve shirt over it, unbuttoned. I never noticed how much he looks like Dad.

"Wow, you guys could pass as twins," I smiled. "You think so," Dad asked proudly. "I do. Both of you are very handsome tonight. Now let's go. I'm starving," I said as I got into the driver's seat. Dad got in on the passenger side, and Drew sat in the back. I looked out at all the guys standing around again and shook my head with a smile. After starting my baby, I just happened to look up and saw someone turn and walk away from the window in the living room of the packhouse.

"So where are we going?" I asked. "Where ever you want to go," Dad replied. 'PIZZA!!! Drew and I shouted at the same time. Dad started laughing. "Still pizza?" Dad laughed. "Always pizza," I laughed. "Definitely," Drew laughed. "Pizza it is," Dad laughed. I looked at my dad and then at Drew; they were genuinely happy. I think we all are. We have missed each other so much. This is the best birthday ever.
