There was a noise and it was grating against every nerve ending in my body. The limbs curled against my own was just as annoying. I wish it would shut up. When another groan banged against my skull, I sat up. My bedmate's arms and legs fell off mine. I rubbed my hands over my face before settling on dropping my head into my hands. It at least blocked out the light until the room stopped it's spinning.
I can't believe I drank that much. It had been years since I last did that. Davey's bachelor night to be exact. Warm arms snaked around my shoulders making my already uneasy stomach sway like a ship during a thunderstorm. I shook them off quickly and jumped from the bed. The room was still spinning but screw it, I'd rather fall on my ass than stay in the bed.
Gravity agreed.
"Are you okay?" Deep red hair filled my vision. I looked up into curious almond eyes. They were paired with a roguish smile. I'm almost certain that were it not for the alcohol punishing us, my bedmate would be laughing.
"Yeah," I answered. "Except now I have a headache and a sore ass to deal with." Did I sound grumpy? I felt it. I looked back towards the woman who peered down at me from my bed. I vaguely remembered snippets of our night together. Mostly images of her hips pressed against mine flashed before me. Considering the sheet she had pulled up to her chin and my cold body only covered in a pair of boxers, I'd say my night ended exactly how I planned for it to. Thank goodness I had the foresight to have Zack sleep over at my mom's.
I stood to my feet and looked around the room. Clothes were everywhere. One of the bedside table lamps were on the floor - not broken - and my duvet was slipping dangerously close to the floor. I smirked. Must have been a great night. "It sure was." I bit my bottom lip and cautiously glanced at the woman in my bed. She was laying on her back, one smooth, tan leg poking out and bent at the knee exposing just enough of what lie between to tease me. "Want a repeat?" she licked her lips. "I need to make sure you remember me."
I laughed and jumped back on the bed, dropping my lips on hers. Slowly, pieces of the night were coming back to me. Burt and I had circled in on two gorgeous women who we stuck to all night. Peyton, my date, was as fiery as her hair. She was witty and flirty, my favorite combination.
Peyton's legs curled around my hips as our tongues fought. Her fingers gripped against the exposed skin on my back, shooting my pelvis down against hers. The hangover that woke me up was easily being pushed aside by Peyton's sultry moans. I pushed her further into the mattress, dropping my body against hers. This was the right thing to do. Screw relationships. I wanted more of this.
