Brainy quits?!

*This chapter is about when Brainy goes to the DEO and tells Alex and John that he's quitting to become a better father and will help Isabel with her schoolwork in transferring to the 4th grade like her father! I hope you like it, Enjoy!*

*on a Monday morning*
*8:10 a.m.*
Isabel and Noah just left for school and Nia was getting ready to leave as well... But not before kissing her loving husband goodbye and hugging him. "I'll see you soon! And good luck, at telling the others at the DEO about you quitting your job To be here for our kids." Nia said softly. Brainy chuckled with a smile. "Don't worry Nia, I'm sure. Alex and John will be understanding. Besides I already told Kara and Lena. And they were very understandable about it... I'm planning on helping at the tower with Lena and Kelly while Isabel and Noah are at school." Brainy said 100% sure. As she nodded in agreement and kissed him on his cheek lovely💗while Walking out the door heading to Catco for work. Brainy headed to work to tell Alex and John about him quitting his position at the DEO for his kids.

*At the DEO*
As Brainy walked inside the building and looked for them. When he saw his two friends standing by the monitor screen in the main room.
so far, no activity or threats have been reported in the city... "Hey, Alex. John," Brainy said greeting his friends. they turned around and smiled and said back to him. "Oh, hey Agent Dox. You're here!" Alex said happy to see him. "good to see you Brainy," John said happily.
Brainy nervously smiled. "Yeah," he replied softly. Alex and John saw the look on Brainy's face and knew he had something to say.
"Brainy is something on your mind?" Alex asked. John added. "Something you want to tell us?" he asked. Brainy cleared his throat when they said that to him and answered. "Well, the thing is... I'm gonna have to resign from the DEO. I've been spending more time at work instead of being there for my kids. Especially, Isabel. That's why she hasn't been doing well in school! I promised her I would help get her grades up after school today." Brainy explained. As he added. I just wanna be a good father..." he said sadly looking down. Alex and John understood that completely. Especially, Alex. Her being a mother and all to Esme. he and Nia told them about Isabel having trouble in school and why. Due to the sudden change in her life! From getting her dream🌀powers✨in exchange for her giving up her "Differential Calculus" and being an "8th-level-intellect." They knew if there was anyone who can help Isabel with her schoolwork and get a passing grade... It's Brainy! "It's ok, Agent Dox. I completely understand family always comes first." Alex said understandably. John nodded in agreement. "I understand that too. If your daughter needs help with schoolwork. Then you should go ahead. And that's being a good father. Brainy, putting your kids first before anything else." He said wisely. Brainy nodded with a relieved smile. "Thanks for understanding, you guys!" He said happily. They hugged him and then broke the hug and said to their friend. Alex added. "You know it's not gonna be the same without you here." She said softly. while holding in her tears💦and trying to act tough... "Indeed," John said. Brainy slightly smiled. "Well, I'll still be able to help protect the city from the tower." He stated still being able to fight crime with his Superfamily. They nodded and were glad about that. So, Brainy filed the paperwork for resigning from the DEO and signed his signature on the last page📄. He left the DEO and looked around the room for one last time while headed home...

*Time skipped to the afternoon*
*Afterschool*
*2:00 pm*
Isabel was at her after-school activity for her violin🎻lesson with Mrs. Flora and mastered it within 2 weeks of lessons. She was officially a Violin player and could learn to play the Piano🎹someday from her father! Since he played something similar to it In the (31st century). From what he told Lena at Alex and Kelly's wedding 9 years ago... So, he could definitely teach his daughter to play it someday! She just got home while holding her violin🎻case in her hand and her school bag🎒on her back. As she walked inside and closed the front door🚪and said. "Hey, Dad! I'm home!" she yelled out loud alerting her father that she was home. As Brainy came running out of the bedroom to greet his daughter. "Isabel, you're home!" He said happily excited to see her while hugging her. And she hugged🤗him back. they broke the hug. Brainy added. "Where's your brother?" he asked. Isabel slightly smiled and said. "Oh, he's still at school... At his baseball⚾ practice." Isabel explained where Noah is to her father. Brainy nodded. "I see, well that explains it. then how come you're not with Mrs. Flora for your Violin🎻lesson?" Brainy asked his daughter. Isabel smiled brightly. "Yeah, about that. I actually mastered the violin🎻and I'm a full-on violin player!" Isabel said as she took her violin out of its case and began playing it like a Pro. And Brainy was mesmerized by Isabel playing the violin "beautifully." "Wow, Isabel. I'm impressed! And at the age of 10, that's quite astounding!! that sounded beautiful too. I'm so proud of you!" Brainy said impressed by his daughter. "Thanks! Dad," Isabel said thankfully with a smile. Isabel added. "I just wish... I was as good as I am at learning the violin than I am at math." Isabel said sadly. As she sat on the couch and put her violin away in its case. As Brainy sat beside her to cheer her up and lift her spirits up! "Not worry! Isabel, with my help you'll get it in no time," Brainy said energetically. As Isabel nodded as she smiled and was excited to get started!

*Study session- FATHER/DAUGHTER time!*
*2:30 pm*
They sat down at the dining table together, Brainy helps his daughter study for her makeup test for this week. Creating a study guide to help her with the answers to the questions... and that helped her. By a lot! Within 15 minutes, Isabel immediately understood it right away as she grabbed her pencil and wrote down all of the answers to the questions. "Done". She said While showing her father the answers. As he looked through them... As a result of it being all 100% "correct". His eyes widened in shock as he was surprised by Her quick thinking in answering the questions correctly. "I-I... Isabel. But how? T-They're all correct. you did it so quickly in a matter of 15 minutes..." Brainy said in shock with a million questions. Isabel smiled lightly at her father. "It's quite simple... Just basic to subtract from the one to the three. I-I..." Isabel said smartly. "That's astounding! Isabel," he said impressed and amazed at His daughter's brilliance. "Thanks, Dad. But I don't know how I know that. I just do." she said softly. Brainy smiled knowing exactly what she meant by that. "Isabel, I know the feeling... When I was around your age I immediately knew the answers with no explanation. It's perfectly normal for you. You're half-Coluan after all!" Brainy explained to his daughter that it was normal/nothing out of the ordinary. And I suppose not all of her intellect was lost... still had half of it left in her brain. Isabel smiled that she was in ways like her dad. And that made her happy😊. Brainy nodded in understanding. "Now, shall we go on?" "Yes," She said. they continued on with the studying and quizzing...

*2 weeks later*
*On a Friday afternoon*
Isabel made up her quizzes and tests and she got a passing grade! 10/10 answers "correct". 100% on each of every one of them. As she came home showed her dad the results of having all A's. she recently found out that she's ready to take the FCAT exam... He couldn't be more proud of his daughter! And of course, she asked him to help her father study for the FCAT exam. which is in 5 weeks from today. his answer is a definite, "yes". So, everyday/every night since then Brainy helped Isabel study and quizzed her on what the questions could be on her big exam to prepare her for it! Time went by fast as it came to the day of Isabel's exam, she got her backpack🎒all ready and set for today while hugging her dad goodbye...he hugged her back. They broke the hug. She waved bye to her father as he wished her good luck on her exam! Isabel went out the door heading to school on foot with a confident and bright smile on her face.

*At school*
Isabel went to her testing room with Mrs. Johnson and the exam started... she knew the answers right away! Thanks to her father's help and her coluan side. within an hour, she was the first to finish before anyone else and felt really confident in herself. And had a great feeling that she passed... 100% sure! A week later, it was announced at NC elementary school that Isabel got the highest score on the exam. Same as her brother did when he took it too. Both got a 100%! And by next week... Isabel will be transferred to the 4th grade class with her brother.
the whole superfamily celebrated Isabel's passing the FCAT exam with a high grade score in her class! And getting transferred to the 4th grade.

*Later that night*
*11:40 p.m.*
The Dox family just got home from Kara's place celebrating Isabel passing her class and her being transferred to the 4th grade!
She and Noah were tired and exhausted from the party since they'd never stayed up this late before😅... their parents tucked them into bed and kissed them good night. As Brainy and Nia sat on the couch together lovely💗gazing into each other's eyes they leaned in sharing a passionate kiss while wrapping their arms around one another and feeling their warmth. they broke the kiss and just lay there til they fell asleep.
