Grounded!

~{Chapter 15}~*This chapter is about Isabel and Noah sneaking out to stop a robbery at the "NC Bank" when Supergirl doesn't show up😅. Until they come back home around midnight get busted by their parents and end up grounded since their kids are still in training... Brainy and Nia thought they weren't ready yet to be Heroes. *On a Saturday Night🌃*
*10:45 p.m.*
Isabel and Noah were late at Night🌙reading comics about their favorite superheroes while playing🎮🎮video games in their room together cause they weren't tired yet... and didn't want their parents to know they were still awake😅. Until she got a notification🔔on her Ultra iPad about an *NC Jewelry💍store* being robbed by a gang of criminals! "Noah, there's a robbery in progress downtown, and hostages are involved," Isabel stated quickly while hinting at her brother that they do something about it. "So? I'm sure Aunt Kara can handle it," Noah said softly while playing his game and thinking💭that it was a bad idea for them to play "Hero" tonight. Then, Isabel sighed stopping what she was doing, and paused the game for a moment to make a point. "Hey, Sis! What did you do that?" he asked upset. "Come on, Noah! Last week we rescued our parents & fought bad guys like "Real Heroes" and we were amazing at it," she said trying to convince him to go and that they have what it takes. "Yeah, I remember... but according to my calculations we'll be 100% grounded if they catch us I-I," Noah stated the facts through his brain of the odds of getting them caught. "Relax, Noah. It'll be fine. Besides, We'll be back home before Mom and Dad even notice we're gone. Like we never left," Isabel said comforting her brother that everything will be "okay" in the end. "Fine," he said to her finally agreeing. "Brother and Sister Duo!" Isabel and Noah said to each other in unison while doing their sibling handshake they'd made up when they *5 years old*. They suited up and went out the window flying towards the "Jewels💍💎and Gems🔹store🏪".

*An hour later, after stopping the Robbery*
Isabel and Noah got back home through their window🪟jumped inside and carefully got in while quietly shutting it so they wouldn't wake their parents up. Until Brainy turned on the lights💡in their room by clapping his hands for dramatic effect. Which caught them completely by surprise! As Isabel tried hiding the fact that her Noah snuck out😅. "Oh, hey! Dad, I can explain. We were just... uh," Isabel said nervously with a look. But Brainy could tell that his daughter was lying considering the expression on her face. "Don't even try to lie. I'm a 12th-level intellect! So, you can't fool me... just wait til I tell your mother about this and I bet she already knows," Brainy said disappointed in his kids while crossing his arms and glaring at them. "Dad, we're sorry!" Isabel and Noah said out loud in unison in tears being apologetic for sneaking out to stop a robbery without his permission or telling him about it in the first place. Also, they hated😡💢the fact that their father was upset with them. Brainy sighed and said💬. "You two should get some rest some rest... it's late. Good night and we are all definitely talking about this in the morning," He said softly wanting his kids to go to sleep while still angry with them for sneaking out and wanted to continue his conversation tomorrow.

Then, Isabel lay down on her bed with her hands on her face feeling bad while thinking💭that this was all her fault. "We are in so much trouble," she said upset with a sad look🥺in her eyes. "Sis, it..." he said softly until he got interrupted. "I don't know what I was thinking?..." Isabel said sadly in a soft voice blaming herself for getting into this mess. Noah was trying to tell his sister something that would cheer her up so she would stop beating herself up over this. But sadly Isabel just wouldn't listen... until Now! "What?" she asked softly looking at her brother and wondering what he had to say💬. "This is not your fault please, don't blame yourself. Besides, I know that you were only doing it for what you thought was right from your kind heroic heart🩵... It's who you are," Noah said in a comforting voice that all the reasons of why this isn't her fault. "You're right," Isabel said agreed with her brother, and said. "Well, Good night!" She said after getting her pjs on coming out of her walk in closet and got into bed wrapping the covers around herself. He did the same thing too and was about to go into Sleep💤mode. "Sweet dreams✨," he said softly while turning off the lights with his hands and hoping that Isabel had good dreams tonight. Isabel chuckled lightly and said. "Oh, I'll try," She said sweetly with a smile, and they both closed their eyes drifting off to sleep😴.

*The next day, in the morning*
*9:00 a.m.*
Isabel and Noah woke up while yawning🥱getting out of bed and stretching at the same time then went into the main room. They saw their parents sitting on the couch with their arms crossed in disappointment... at that moment both of them knew that they were so grounded😓.

*An hour later*
After being told by their parents that they were grounded for "2 weeks" for sneaking out to stop a robbery last night🌃without telling them...
Isabel was not happy and said💬to express her emotions🖤about how she feels✨about this! "Wait, you're grounding us? All cuz' I and Noah snuck out last night to stop a robbery... but we saved lives," Isabel questioned softly thinking that they were being punished for no reason. "Yes, that's great and all... but you are still grounded," Nia replied softly crossing her arms in being a good mother in situations like this. Brainy agreed with her on the subject and they both only wanted what was best for their kids and were only trying to protect them from harm's way. Just as Parents should do! "Your Mother is right! You two are still in training... and who knows what will happen the next time you decide to play Hero when you're not ready," Brainy shouted out in fear just trying to protect them from getting hurt🤕on the
battlefield without proper combat training. "But Dad, we are ready! More than you think... besides, aren't you forgetting the time we saved You and Mom," Isabel stated from experience. "Isabel, I never forgot. But what about "last week" when you and your mom got kidnapped... and you couldn't do anything? That's exactly what your training is for!" Brainy said making a strong argument. Isabel had nothing else to say after that as she sat in silence thinking that her father had a fair point.

Nia noticed that and thought💭that Brainy was a little hard on their daughter... she knew he meant well and was only doing it out of "Love" in his own way😅. "Okay, Brainy. That's enough. I think she gets it! You made your point," Nia said softly looking at her husband while placing her hand on his shoulder for him to take it easy. Which made him calm down feeling her warmth. Then, Isabel snapped out of it and said💬. "So, what? We just sit by and wait till you, mom, and the others handle the situation... and we have to watch by doing nothing," she asked softly in a angry tone in her voice if that's what they expect them to do from now on. "Exactly," Brainy and Nia answered in unison. Isabel sighed sadly as her mother said to her. "Don't worry it's not forever, just until you two complete your training," Nia said softly. "I couldn't have agreed more," Brainy said agreeable onboard for this topic. "Fine," Isabel and Noah said in unison agreeing to stop playing Hero until their combat training was complete!
