Naltorian🌀 "Sickness"?

~{Chapter 34}~*This chapter is about when Isabel🩵gets sick for the first time in her life! Due to her coluan💚side taking over her the other night. But it wasn't a virus or cold or anything like that😅? It was a Naltorian sickness known as "dream🌀fever🤒". And of course, her father Brainy (Querl Dox) stays home to take care of his daughter. However, Isabel was in *denial* of being sick because today was the "one day" that she couldn't miss school today... cause she had an Algebra test. I hope you like it, Enjoy!*

*The next day, in the morning, at Dox "Family" Apartment for breakfast*
*10:15 a.m.*
"So, how'd you sleep last night? Isabel, sweetheart, did that device help you?" Brainy asked his daughter if the device that he made for her to stabilize Isabel's coluan💚side to help her sleep at night acted as a blue light. "I slept great Dad, and I woke up like myself again. That device you made me really helped me a lot!" Isabel said happily with a bright smile on her face while eating her favorite breakfast dish "Spinach pancakes" made by her father💚on a Sunday *morning* and was glad to know that she was able to keep her coluan side and abilities at bay. But the real question is... for how long? "I'm glad to hear that," Brainy said relieved. "Yeah, same thing. I was really worried about you the other night... but I'm glad you're "okay" now. Isabel," Nia added. "Well, you have nothing to worry about. Mom, I'm perfectly "fine" and the best part about being *half-coluan* is that I am immune to getting sick." Isabel said out loud ecstatically while munching happily on her pancakes🥞and felt "invincible" like she could do anything. However, like all powerful or intelligent beings in *existence* with extraordinary✨powers known to mankind... balance in the Universe "always" finds a way to make powerful alien beings have weaknesses like humans who are tweaked by a simple cut to the flesh. Kryptonians being weakened or *killed* by "kryptonite". Including, "Coluan hybrids" do as well. In this case "Isabel Dox". And with that Brainy and Nia were deeply worried and concerned for their daughter who is more Naltorian🌀than Coluan💚! Which could result in her getting a *Dream fever* a Naltorian sickness that all Naltorian Woman get in their life. Much like the "chickenpox" for Humans but completely different.

*Two weeks later*
*On a Friday morning, Isabel and Nozh were in a rush wanting to get to school on time and not be late for class today because they had an "Algebra Test"*
*8:15 a.m.*
"Sis, come on, we're gonna be late for school today!" Noah said loudly in a rush while quickly packing up his futuristic green tech backpack for school at *super speed* and reminding Isabel🩵to hurry up too before they were late for their test today. "Coming. Noah," Isabel replied softly to her brother in a weak "sick" voice as she put on her sliver blue futuristic jean jacket with printed stars on the front and back over her floral outfit while walking slowly to the front door🚪. When you're sick your whole body feels *weak* but in Isabel's case... since she's a "Hybrid" of both alien species of her parents💙💚. Because her Coluan side "always" made her immune to any sickness, colds, or viruses in her system/body but since she's half Naltorian🌀and a Woman. Isabel had "Dream Fever"! However, she didn't know that thinking💭that it was just a "cold". Noah sensed that his sister wasn't feeling well like she was "sick" or something. "Uh, sis? You don't look so good? I sense that you're sick..." Noah said to his sister stating the obvious of her condition. She sighed with a fake smile feeling fine. "I'm perfectly fine, Noah. Don't worry about me. I was just up all night studying for our test today. Now, come on, you better get going we wanna get toclass on time!" Isabel said positively in denial about being Sick but trippy told she didn't care because she just wanted to get this test done with. Then, she reached for the doorknob at the front door until Noah super sped in front of her to stop his own sister from leaving the apartment and said to Isabel because of it. "No, Isabel, you're gpnot going anywhere! Especially, school. You are obviously sick. I think maybe you should stay home today and get some rest. I'll let Miss Garica know that you're "sick" and can't take the test next week until you're all better." Noah said loudly suggesting that she🩵stay home. "Yeah like she'll make me retake the test because I'm sick. But I don't care if I'm sick. I just wanna take that test and that's that." Isabel said rolling her eyes at her brother not believing that their homeroom teacher would allow her to take the test another time when she's all better and not sick anymore. " I think you might be overreacting a bit, but I'm sure that our teacher would be happy to allow you to take the test and another time if you're so sick not to come into school today," Noah said.
"What's going on here? Isabel, Noah, and shouldn't you two be at school by now." Brainy asked his kids why they weren't at school yet. "Yeah, everything's fine and we were just heading out to school now." Isabel said with a nervous laugh while gesturing her hands in the air. "Dad. Isabel is sick and she is refusing to stay home." Noah said rating out his sister because as a good brother looking out for her.
"No. I'm fine. I'm not sick! I-I..." Isabel said in *denial* of being "sick" because taking her math test was more important to her than getting better as she released a powerful dream🌀blast💥converted into a sneeze🤧. It happens whenever a Naltorian Woman gets sick cause their *dreaming powers* become unstable and unpredictable and their dreams turn into "hallucinations". Luckily, Brainy is an expert on taking care of Sick Naltorians with a *high dream fever* since Nia went through the same thing as he said when touches Isabel's forehead feeling very warm. "You have a high fever and you're suffering from Naltorian "dream fever" which is something that every Naltorian Woman gets when their dream powers first manifest. And the reason why you're sick now because your column side prevented you from catching a cold or getting the flu and even any virus." Brainy said logically stating the facts of his daughter's Naltorian🌀*illness*.
