Brainia💚💙One-Shots: Life as Parents!

~{Chapter 26}~*This chapter is about when Brainy💚and Nia💙& their teenage children "Isabel" and "Noah" Dox go on a family team-up mission together to take down a *local thief * who has been sighted unidentified in *National🏙City* causing trouble! Meaning, vandalism all across the "city" and no one could them or stop them! So, the Dox family decided to do something about it by staking out at the *N.C. Park* all night🌃to catch the bad guy or girl in the act.

*At the N.C. Park*
*4:00 p.m.*
The Dox family is staking out at the *park* while dressed in disguises🥸to blend with the crowd while waiting for the thief to show and make their move on her. And the reason Brainy and Nia included their kids on this "mission" was to teach them a valuable lesson of *Hero 101* meaning, knowing when to suit up and take action as "heroes" and when not to use their powers for once😅. Also, they were the only ones in the area to handle this threat in the "city🏙" due to the others being off-world🌎. But unfortunately, the bad guy never showed... So, they ended up sleeping😴💤in the *park* for the entire night🌃. Waiting for the "bandit" to show up so that together as a "family" they could bust them!

(Time skipped to the next day)

*The next day🌇, in the morning at the Park*
*9:00 a.m.*
Isabel🩵and Noah💚woke up immediately realizing that they slept through the whole *night🌃* and then got down behind the park sign🪧at the sight of the thief causing mischief👁‍🗨by spraying paint on the statue as an act of "Vandalism" of crime! After the female bandit was about to make a quick getaway... so, they alerted Brainy their father that she was coming his way as he replied back to his kids🩵💚on the *comms* saying. "On it! Just the old days when we took down "Agent Liberty" and his children of liberty goons, Right Nia?" Brainy said excitedly to his wife over the comms remembering the "good times" when they fought bad guys together like in the *old days* and then he immediately noticed that she was still asleep😴when he said that. "Nia? Wake up, Nia. We got a bad guy to catch..." He said softly in a dramatic tone waking up his wife to catch the bandit before she got away. She gasped waking up from her dream✨on high alert and said. "I'm up! I'm up. And I am wide awake now," Nia said loudly cautious of her surroundings while getting up in letting her family know that she was wide awake and ready for action. Then, Brainy saw the bad guy coming and was about to tackle her... until Ashley Katz the "female Bandit" sprayed him with paint right in his face that caught him completely off guard and landed on the floor "Ow, it's in my eyes!" He said in pain unable to see while trying to wipe it off. Isabel and Noah sighed facing as he said. "Dad is down. Mom, you're up." Noah added over the *comms* dramatically stating obviously that their mom's turn to step in to stop the bad guy before she got away. But she was stopped immediately when a little alien kid came up to ask "Will you tie my shoe?" The little girl asked softly sweetly. And how could Nia possibly say "no" to that little face as she answered saying. "Aww, Of course I will. Let's take care of Mister Shoe," Nia said loudly motherly while speaking in a baby-talking voice. Once she does that mommy's voice... she's powerless. It's all up to "us" now," Isabel said.

So, they immediately charged in together as "partners" and fought the bandit together as "one" trying to hold her down so, she wouldn't get away. But Ashley got the drop on the Dox Siblings and was about to make a quick getaway... Isabel🩵and Noah💚didn't see how they were going to take her down without using their powers✨because at this point it was the only way.

So, Isabel quickly acted on it and used her powers by converting an ounce of *dream🌀energy* into a lasso and Noah used his coluan💚🤖 powers to make the "lasso" invisible to the naked eye to protect their "secret" without anyone noticing to stop the bandit in her tracks within a matter of seconds! "Yeah, we're the "Dox Family," Isabel said optimistically posing heroically as the rest of her family joined in posing heroically as well in finally capturing the bad guy. She scoffed annoyed hating family lovey-dovey stuff. "Come on, let's go! Miss Katz off to the police station to an jail cell in paying for your crimes of vandalism and theft." Brainy said cuffing the thief and escorting her out of the park to the police station to be locked up in a cell for the rest of her days. "Great work, you two. I'm proud of you both! This was a team effort," Nia said excitedly as a proud mother of her kids taking down the bandit in the last second that was very "impressive" and she thought someday Isabel and Noah would make amazing "heroes" one of these days😉. "Thanks, Mom," Isabel and Noah said in unison thanking their mother for the kind words of a job well done on their first mission that was successful today. Then, the three of them went home since it was a school night and missed school but they were both excused from their classes because today was a training session for "Isabel" and "Noah" on learning about being in real-life situations with dealing with bad guys without superpowers or alien powers and armed weapons to act on it.
