The terrible twos

~{Chapter 5}~*This chapter is about when Isabel and Noah are 2 years old now. And things with them have been pretty tough. Being parents to them had their good days and their bad days. their kids Up all night, takes about 2 hours to get them to sleep, and their Coluan powers while running around the house wild. It's just a lot for Brainy and Nia to handle all at once...😅*
Brainy and Nia woke up in the middle of the night while hearing little Isabel and Noah crying at 3 am.
They Ran quickly into their room to see them crying in the crib.

When they finally got Isabel, Noah calm down and fall back to sleep.
They quietly walked out of their bedroom and gently close the door.

As both sat down on the couch, sighing in relief.

"You know Nia. I had no idea that being a parent would be this hard and exhausting." Brainy said tiredly.
Nia sighed with a slight smile.
"I know what you mean Brainy. It may be hard. But at the end of the day it's all worth it. We have 2 beautiful babies.
Besides this'll pass... they're only 2 years old. And that's why they call it "the terrible twos..." Nia said.

Brainy looked confused. Not understanding what terrible twos mean.
"T-Terrible Twos? I'm not sure I understand. They're not terrible at being 2-year-olds." Brainy questioned.

Nia touched his hand. She smiled.

She found it cute. when Brainy didn't understand 21st century concepts.
"No, no no no. Hunny. You see Terrible Twos is when toddlers are two and they're hard to keep up with and cause a lot of trouble." Nia said softly.

Brainy hits realization and understands.

"Oh, I see. I understand now." brainy said with a smile.

Nia nodded with a smile.

There it is. She thought.

As she placed her head on his shoulder lovely.

feeling his warmth.

Brainy loved feeling this close to Nia like this.
He whispered in her ear softly, "I love you,"

Nia smiled when he said that.
She whispered into his ear as well softly, "I love you too, and I love our life together. And our family."
"I couldn't agree more. Nia Nal. To have this family... Especially, with you. Truly is a miracle." He said lovely.

And they ended up, falling asleep together on the couch.
