Emily
Two weeks later
The last few months were full of so much stuff going on, that I was hoping that the future would be a lot calmer. I needed a little bit of laziness in my life and Dax – oh, I was sure that he'd die for some vacation time right now.
After the raid on Roth's mansion, the whole SWAT team needed to stay at the Police station for almost 24 hours and give their reports directly to their boss, and then, they had some meetings with different teams and departments and some prosecutors. There were so many people wanting to hear the story first hand, that the team were tired of repeating it all night long. But that raid was quite the big event in the region...and the fact Chris Roth was at the scene where not only I was found after my kidnaping, but also a lot of money and even some drugs. It was like a jackpot for the prosecution. They had a lot of evidence of the illegal work that Chris was managing, and they wanted to make their cases as fire-proof as possible. That was why they were grilling the SWAT team for hours after they saved me. They tried to do it to me, too, but Dax quickly stopped them. He sent me to the hospital for a checkup and made sure no one was to come to my room and ask me questions until he was with me. Which pushed my interrogation by a day, because of his delay in the Police station. When all we knew was said at least 10 times, we were left alone, at least for some days until the prosecutors made their case against Roth and needed us to be in court to tell our story again, this time in front of a judge and a jury. We also found out that part of Roth's crew was the ones who broke in and trashed my apartment. It was a warning about my neighbors being caught with drugs. I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but at least I knew that I didn't have some unknown people trying to harm me.
Chris Roth and his team were not the only ones that were going to the jail. Rebecca was also arrested after Dax found out that she was the reason for the first vandalism of my bakery. Honestly, I'm kind of sad that I didn't think of her when I was making a list of suspects, but I wasn't surprised that she did it. I wasn't sure that her logic for doing it was any good and the idea that she could have Dax back was ridiculous, but, hey, to each their own, I guess. I was happy that it took a few days for her friend to get the money for her bail, so Rebecca had a few nights in the arrest. Hopefully, after that fun experience she'll think twice before making something stupid.
As for Caitie, she had a long conversation with Dax where they talked about her past and her future. It was a hard one for both of them, but at least they managed to come up with a plan that was approved not only by both of them, but also by their parents. Caitie found a small place in a nearby town, dealing with drug addicts, that she liked to go to. So, after a talk with the director of the program and some research of his own, Dax finally let his sister deal with her demons on her own terms. He let her make her choices and just supported her decisions. Only time will tell if this will work like they hope it will.
Dax
Two days after the arrest of Chris Roth, my team and I were back on the road, writing tickets and stopping stupid people from doing dumb shit. In the following days, I dealt with Rebecca and then with Caitie. All of these problems and finding different solutions were leaving me with little to no energy at the end of the day. Luckily, I had my sweet Cupcake waiting for me every time I got home, and she took care of me and Ace when I couldn't do it on my own. She made sure that we were fed and cleaned, my uniforms ready for me for my next shift. And I was so thankful for her, I couldn't express it. For the most part of my life, I was the one caring for the people around me. And now when Lily was doing it for me, without hidden agendas, just because she knew I was tired and couldn't make it myself...she was golden. Day after day I wondered if it was too soon to propose to her, to make sure she would be bound to me for the rest of our lives, so that I would have time to thank her for her care.
Today was my first easy day since her kidnaping, and I was going to make the best out of it. I was planning on taking Lily out to a restaurant, showering her with the love and care she deserved. But Lily had other plans that I found out when I got home.
"Hey, Cupcake. We're home." I closed the front door after me, letting Ace to find our girl while I was securing the house. I heard his paws clacking on the kitchen floor, but in a few seconds, he left, making me wonder what made him leave the room. I saw him going to the living room, having some food in his mouth that made me wonder even more. "Cupcake?"
"In the kitchen! Just...can you first let Ace outside in your backyard? I made something for him back there." I did as I was told. Ace happily went there, and I let him be on his own while I went to the kitchen.
"Shit!" Now I know why she wanted me to get rid of Ace. Lily was sitting on the kitchen island, dressed in the red and black lace set of a bra and panties, looking like the best wet dream a man can imagine.
"Hi, Dax."
"Hi, Cupcake." I was left speechless. I knew that I had to say something else, to compliment her, to let her know how much I liked what I was seeing. But all the blood left my head and went to the South, leaving me with no words.
"You okay there?"
"Mhm..."
"You sure?"
"Mhm..."
"Are you going to just stay there and stare?"
"Mhm..."
"You sure?"
"Mhm...wait, what?" The sound of her laugh made me snap out of my trance and let me make a few steps in her direction. "What are you doing, Cupcake? Sitting here dressed like that..."
"Was it a bad decision? I can go and change if it was..."
"Don't you fucking dare to move, Cupcake." I stopped in front of her, putting my hands on her knees, separating her legs, making a place for my body. "You look so fucking hot; my mind left the house for a second."
"You good now?" She put her hands on my shoulders, entwined her fingers into my hair, massaging my scalp.
"Yeah, I'm good now. But I'm going to be even better when I get my mouth on you."
"And what's stopping you?"
"Hmm, good question. I guess nothing." I kissed Lily with everything I had, trying to show her with my actions what my words were lacking. She was kissing me with equivalent force, our mouths battling for dominance over each other. My hands were moving everywhere on her body, trying to map every curve, every dip. The sounds she was making were driving me nuts. I wanted to do so much stuff, but I wasn't sure if I was going to make it. She was making me a mad man.
I moved my focus to her neck, licking and sucking her sweet spot just under her ear, making her moans louder.
"Dax, please..."
"What do you want, Cupcake? Tell me, and I'll do it."
"Please..."
"What do you want? My mouth?" I kissed her shoulder, sucking the skin off her neck, leaving my mark there.
"Mhm..."
"What about my fingers?" I was massaging her tights, letting my thumbs get closer to the center between her legs, making her whole body shiver in anticipation.
"Mhm..."
"And what about my cock?" I punctuate my words with a trust of my hips into her crotch, hitting her heated center, making her moan my name.
"Dax...stop toying with me...just...take me...make me come."
