The others

I was able to open my eyes as the sun was seating throw the windows in the cell and plunged the room into darkness the only lights came from the bulbs over are heads. I heard voices coming from the darkness. I turned and sow several blood vampires with their short spiky hair and the two dark red circle blood marks of the disease on there necks as they emerge from the darkness from a door under the stairs. One of the crashers turned to us and came up to the bars his hair was a short and red, his eyes where sunk into his skull, he was skinny and warring cut off shorts and nothing eels. His mouth was opened wide like a dog sniffing the air. I could see he had several long teeth but the two fronts stood out there hollow points that was dripping a clear liquid onto the floor. He then liked his lips and stared at me.
“I smell blood.” He tried to get closer to me. The others about seven of them came up as will. I was not scared at all; the fact that they can’t get throws the bars, help with that. That is when Destin came down the stairs and sow the vampires at the gate.
“Lesson up they are under my protection and any one that lays a hand on them will answer to me personally. Do you understand?” he snapped at the vampires. The younger one of the group turned to Destin with a hiss.
“How dear you bring them here their sorceress they could destroy us and course a war.” He was hissing the whole time. Destin did not flinch one bit.
“Lesson there under the protection of the Dragon Fang and should be treated as such.” Destin stated they just stared at him.
“The only reason the Dragon Fang is still alive is because of your fever to the Court of Blood if it was not for that then they would have been destroyed long ago.” he hissed and walked up the stairs hitting Destin with his shoulder then went up stirs followed by the other vampires that where down here. Destin let out a deep breath, as the door upstairs closed. When he came to the gate he was breathing hard.
“Don’t worry they will levee you alone.” he entered the cage and sat down next to me. His power was running crazy. I watched him start to sway back and forth. “Till me have you been tested yet?” I looked up at him as he stared down at his feet.
“No my teacher was going to take me but wonted to what a few days to see if my power stabilized a little.”
“I have a friend that can test you we can leave tomorrow.”
“We can’t leave the boy alone.”
“Relaxed we will take him with us.”
“If they scenes his power they will find us and try to kill us.” fear griped me. He put his hand on my shoulder and started to lightly rub the fresh wounds that where on my neck. He turned to me and licked his lips as he moved his hand lightly up and down my neck.
“We should see what level you are at before we continue.” his lips started to move closer to me.
“Why?” I was longing for the feeling of pace that he can give me.
“So we know what level you are at so I don’t overwhelm you.” He smile
“As you wish.” I watched him stand up he then looked around the room, and turned to face me.
“Get some sleep we will leave first thing in the morning.” He left the room. I lied back down and fell into a deep calming sleep.
I awoke to a lot of yelling I turned and sow two blood vampires from a different group with eight members that entered, fitting over a man that was being pulled between them. The victim was an older man with short salt and pepper hair warring a trench cote over a white t-shirt and black slakes. He was unconscious with out knowing what was happening to him. I wonted to tell them to stop but it was too late and the stronger of the two vampires got a hold of him and bit his neck draining the lifeblood out of the poor man. His eyes opened and then closed never to be opened again. The vampire then dragged the body down into the darkness under the stairs.
One of them turned to me this was a female with long blond hair and deep black eyes. She was warring a short cut off shirt and shorts each tight and leaving nothing to the imagination.
“Hello child you look good enough to eat.” she came closer to the cage licking her lips as she walked. I sat up and turned to her.
“You’re not aloud to hurt any of us.” I was watching her move from foot to foot.
“Oh who said that?”
“Destin”
“If that is true then you would have his mark on you.” She smiled with a toothy smile.
“That is enough.” We turned and sow Destin coming down the stairs. The women hissed at him as he neared us. “Leave them alone there not your problem.” He said to the woman with out fear.
“And why should I lesson to you?”
“Because your Court of Blood appointed me as protector of this safe house and I make the rules and if you and those with you do not obey then I will inform your court that there will be no more safe houses in this 45 yard area and we will see who gets yelled at.” I sow fear in the women as she started to shake and I watched her back down. She retreated to the safety of the darkness with the others of here group.
“You are not scared of them?” he opened the gate and then went to the boy’s gate and opened that.
“I am terrified of those beasts but they can’t heart me as long as I have friends in their Court.” he reached down and petted Scarlet on the head to calm her down. The boy was snoring on the bed facing the ceiling his short blond hair went in every direction. I walked over to him and found the bracelet Steve put on him. I took it off and stepped back to give him room. I looked up at Destin and he stood there just watching the boy move as he started to wake up.
“How fair is this friend of yours?” we sow the boy open his eyes deciding if we where real or not
“Two blocks south from here.”
The boy sat up and rubbed his eyes and just stared.
“What’s your name kid?” I asked as calmly as I could. That is when I sow the dragon inside of him wake up as will. Now I had four eyes starring at me. The sun started to enter the room by the two windows in the cages.
“My name is Nicolas.” I stopped him before he could say it all
“Do not tell anyone your whole name it will give them power over you. Just like if some one haves two of your names they can track you down but only if it’s spoken out of your mouth. Do you understand?”
“I think so.” He just stared up at me with his brown eyes.
“Am I your prisoner?” he asked seeing the gate.
“No young one.”
“Is there a bathroom I can use?”
“This way.” Said Destin as we followed him up the stairs to a hall that leads to the bar where he showed us where the bathrooms are. Nicolas and I each entered a different bathroom. I finished first and waited for him right out side next to Destin.
“What douse your friend do?”
“He is a monk for Saint Andrews Church.”
“I would never think of someone like you to be friends with a monk.”
“Why do you say that?” he put his hand on my neck.
“Well you are different your not a sorcerer, or one of those vampires. I don’t even know what you are.” he smiled at me
“I am a type of vampire. We are called power vampires. Don’t worry. We are more human then throw monsters down stairs.”
Nicolas exited the bathroom and looked up at us. “So what are your names? And why am I hear?”
“My name is Destin and this is Kate she will be your teacher.”
“Teacher? Why would I need a teacher?” he folding his arms across his chest. 
“Because you are young and don’t know the full strength of power you can control.”
“I have no power.”
“Have you ever felt out of place like you are looking at the world throw someone eases eyes?”
“Yes but everyone haves.”
“Do you see things that are not there or that are hard to explain and everyone around you think that you are nuts?”
“Lesson if you have that problem then that is your problem.” I could tell that he was getting upset with me as he keep looking away from me not once looking street at me.
“How about dreaming of a time long ago where you are friends with a black dragon and are fighting in a war?” we both looked up at Destin.
“What?”
“How did you know?” I turned and looked at Nicolas shocked face
“You’re saying that you have dreams like that.”
“Ya so what?”
“That is the legend of the dragon king where a man of enormous power started the society by bringing the power together as one force agents the evil that was destroying the land. The Dragon Fang was and always will be the Dragon Childs protectors.” Destin explained as he looked at me with a slight smile. It brought shivers down my spine.
“So what are you exactly?” Nicolas looked up at me,
“We are here to teach and protect you. But we can’t do either standing around here.”
“We have to get Kate certified so she can protect you.”
“I don’t understand?”
“Don’t worry about it.” he put his hand on the boy’s shoulder I sow the dragon in the Nicolas move and then I sow pain come across Destin’s face as he quickly took his hand off the boy. “Let’s go.” we walked out to the main bar area with out saying another word to each other.
We said “Good by” to Tina who had on a short thin black dress that showed more then normal. I sow Nicolas starring at her when we past her and walked to the door.
Destin open the door to the bright sunlight and heat of outside. As we walked out I noticed a man standing at us from across the street. He had on a blue t-shirt and blue jeans. I would not of thought anything about him accept as I looked at him I could see him talking to my father. I watched as he reached into his side pocked and pulled out a long black wand. The hair on the back of my neck rose and I turned to Destin.
