We left the house to leave in cab that is waiting for us. We entered the taxi and I noticed that the man driving was a vampire, but he looked more human then the once I have seen at Destin’s bar. I looked up at Destin and sow him playing with the bracelet that Riken put on him. I put my hand on his and he looked at me. “Relax.” I smiled and he took my hand in his.
We arrived at Cash Men Field, and the parking lot was filled with cars of all kinds. He let us off in front and we sow the tall building was of white stone and concrete, round and at least several stores tall. With a huge banner that read “Welcome Court of Blood” In large red, and gold letters across the length of the building.  We walked up to the doors that lead inside.
At each door stood two men defiantly not human they moved with such great speed it was almost a blear if you did not know what you where looking for. They turned to us as we walked up to one of the doors. “And you are?” a tall black hair man warring a black suit and boots just like his partner next to him.
“My name is Destin. I was invaded by Count Jeffrey Cretaceous.” Destin showed him the invitation. Midnight put his head under my hand so I tell he was there. The man looked at it and then at us.
“Kat.” He called and a woman with short green hair, green eyes and a white dress came up to the man. She looked up at me then Midnight then back at me she liked her lips. “I don’t like vampires.” I thought as she stared at me.
“Pleas take them to Count Jeffrey Cretaceous he should be at front with the court.” the man handed the invites back to Destin along with two bandanas and a pin. Destin handed me the two blue bandanas and he but the pin on his shirt. I tied one bandana around Midnights neck and the other I twisted and used it to keep the hair out of my eyes.
“Take care, Mr. Destin,” said the man as we followed this Kat person inside.
I was shocked as we entered and sow every seat filled with vampires some seemed worse off then the ones at the bar and some that looked very much human. We fallowed her to the main floor where we came up to a stage with about twelve people sitting in large chairs. We came up to a man that was about thirdly warring a red robe with a blue band around it edge standing just before the stage. He was thin tall black hair and when he turned we sow his deep dark black eyes. I had to close my mind to many images of death filed me with everyone here. Destin held my arm as we approached.
“Count Jeffrey this is Destin.” Said Kat with a hissing sound to her voice Jeffrey turned to us and smiled showing his fangs.
“Welcome Destin. Drogues were looking for you.” He said in an old English assent.
“Thank you; do you know where he is at?”
“No but I bet he will be here soon.”
“So who is in the vote?”
“Cromwell, Huge, and Stephanie.” He said then turned to me.
“Who is this sweet thing?” asked Jeffrey Midnight gave a low grail and Jeffrey turned to him then looked back at Destin.
“You fool you brought a member of the Society here?”
“Calm down Jeffrey this is Kate. Kate this is Count Jeffrey.”
“Pleased to meet you sir.” I said with a slight bow,
“Will at least she is not a fool. But if Drogues sees her you could be in trouble.”
“Relax she will not course problems she understands that she can’t interfere.”
“I hope you are right or it could end up with both of your necks on a string.” He said that is when another man came over to us this man was tall about eight feet warring a black outfit a button up shirt and slacks as will as dress shows and a red tie. He had a black cape that came off his shoulders. His short black hair and bright green eyes complemented his thin white face. His companion was a young man about half his size warring the same thing but his short brown hair and blue eyes set them apart.
They came up to us. “Drogues how are you?” Destin with a bow
“Very will Destin and you?” asked the tall men
“I am doing well.”
“I would like you to meet Kate.” the two men stared at me with hungry eyes. I felt like a piece of meet in front of a large group of dieters. Midnight moved to be right next to me.
“Pleased, to meet you.” I bow to them.
“Destin are you nuts she is a member of the society and you bring her here?”
“I understand your concern sir, but there is no need to wary. Kate is not like the others she knows not to interfere.”
“Will I hope so for both of your sakes?” Drogues walked up stage to talk to some of the men sitting at the chairs.
A man dressed in white came up to stand in front of a speaker at the front of the stage. The moment he did the entire place went deathly quiet. You could here a pin drop in the large arena. We stood just off stage with several other men and women. I sow the front row of the stadium and noticed that the first two rows had men and women with marks on their checks and chains around there ankles. Destin looked at me and put his arm around me and then leaned in close to me. “I will have to go up on stage I need you two to stay here and don’t course any problems. Understand?”
“Relax I will be on my best behavior.”
“Good.” He said and they called Destin’s name he left me standing there with Midnight and went up to the stage.
The man that was with Drogues came up to me. “Hello.”
“Hi, how are you?”
“I’m doing well.” He said with a European accent.
“So you are with Destin what do you think of him?” he asked with a smile showing me his fangs.
“He is a good man.”
“Yes a lot of people say that about him, but his kind are few and might not live long.”
“Why is that?” he looked sideways at me.
“Simple child only throws in the cancel have the ability to take others power but Destin is different he and a few others are able to return that power if they wont to the person they took it from.” He staring up at the stage
“Really I did not know that.” I watched them talk about how they’re going to change things.
“You are lucky child for that mark on your shoulder shows that you can’t be taken at least not by my kind.” The voting started. The room went quiet again and I wondered what he meant “I will see you around Kid.” He said and left as Drogues came walking past me.
Destin came up to me. “Are you all right?”
“Yes fine.”
“Come the new leader wants to meet you.” He took my hand and we walked up to the stage as people where trying to come up but where stopped by several large men.
We came up to the stage and there sitting on a large chair was a boy about five warring a long red and black cape that was way too big for him. He haves a black shirt and prance his short white hair was spiked up he had a gold necklaces on of a sun on a gold chain hanging from around his neck. He turned to us and beaconed for us to come closer. We bowed before him.
“My lord Cromwell this is my charge Kate.”
“Ah a young lass please come her child I will not harm you.” Said the boy Destin pushed me forward and I had Midnight stay with Destin as I bowed before the child. I opened my mind but kept my defenses up. I sow a lot of death and several life times of pain in him. “Tell me child how do you like Destin?”
“I like him very much sire.” I could tell that he was old very old properly century old. “Respect.” I thought to my self. “For if he is that old he is powerful especially to be the vampire’s new leader.” I thought trying to stay calm. He smiled at me
“Came closer child.” He beckoning me to him. I did not want to but his voice gave me no chouse as I knelt down at his feet. He stood up and everyone went quiet. He came up to me and touched the mark on my shoulder, which sent pain throw my whole body. I held in a scream as he traced the mark. “Will Destin you have a strong one here maybe even stronger then their current leader. She will be very powerful some day.” He then he touched my neck and I froze I tried to move but could not. “Destin I’m impressed. But like you her blood is poison to us, and we can’t have that.” I felt a sharp pain run throw me from where his hand touched then all went dark.
