My dreams where showed me a dark cave with a large dragon statue on a pedestal looking right at me. “I will destroy you all.” The voice of the dragon brought fear like a massive truck.
I jumped out of bed and ran out side to the grass next to the pool. I cried baring my head in my hands and shaking like crazy. I drew a circle in the dirt around me and closed it tit around me. I did not wont to feel that power that the dragon gave off I wonted to just hid and never come out.
“Kate, Kate.” Said a voice I did not want to move I was to scared,
“Riken she is not responding.”
“We can’t do anything unless she drops the circle.” Riken voice seamed to be coming from the house behind me
“Dam it Kate you can’t help Nicolas sitting there all day.” I finally realized the other voice it was Andrew. I turned and sow a tall skinny blue eyes black and blue hair man with a gold dragon necklace around his neck, and a skinny blue dragon staring at me as he sat next to him.
“Brother.” I leaped up and scratched the circle which dropping it’s power and tackled my brother. “I missed you.” I cry in his arms.
He pulled me off of him and looked at me. “What have you done to your self?” he asked as he traced the marks on my neck
“It’s ok I’m fine.” he stared at me with wary in his face. I was happy and hugged him again.
“Kate things are pretty bad.” Andrew wrapped his arms around me. I looked up at him.
“I know Carl and Father killed Steve’s familiar and Carl found a way into the Field and killed Nicolas dragon familiar then he took Nicolas. They’re planning to bring the Black Dragon back to life. It will kill us all.” tears ran down my face.
“Is this true?” Andrew looked up at Riken. Riken turned away from us. “So it is true. Is this why you called me back?”
“No, I called you back for Kate. She needs a family member at the moment. She is going to see the cancel and needs a member to vouch for her that is already a member of the cancel.”
“Why can’t you?” Andrew did not want to let me go
“Don’t be a fool Andrew I called you because she is not my family, and she still haves family that are alive so you will have to.”
“Ok then answer me. Why douse she need to be analogue?”
“Because if they question her membership with the society of light. Then you can analogue her and they will have to lesson.” Riken explained Andrew took a deep breath and tuned to me.
“So you’re that strong now.”
“They said that I will be but right now they have to keep the balance.”
“Ok I will do it. But if Father is there and he says no then there is nothing I can do.”
“That would not be a problem. She is not related to your father.” Riken explained as he looked at the pool.
“WHAT?” we doth asked him.
“I now you might not believe me but you are not related to the man you call father. You have a different father and with the amount of power you have been showing it’s not hard to see that. But you two are related by your mother alone.” I was in shock about this news and had to remember how to breathe.
“Then who is her father?” Andrew let me go. Riken took a deep breath and turned to me. He scratched the back of his neck.
“Will it’s hard to explain.” that is when Destin came in the yard. Riken looked up at him.
“Riken? Who is Kate’s Father?” Andrew demanded an answer as he stood inches from his face. Riken turned to me.
“Chad Edwards” I sow all the color drains out of Andrews face. I looked over at Destin and he two was in shock. I felt really cold all of a sudden. Wolf came out and put his cape around me to keep me warm.
“How? Father never left her.” Andrew took a steep back
“The war was hard on everyone your mother tried to stop it but her plan did not work. She fell in love with a man that was not your father. She ended up pregnant with Kate. That same night she went to your father. She knew if she found out about Edwards he would kill Kate. So she went to him, and that is why he always believed Kate was his. I knew different, and she promised me to keep it a secret.”
“How is that possible?”
“Simple I was your mother’s first apprentice I knew what she was doing because I helped her.” Riken looking solemnly at me he seamed to be relived that a secret was finally reveled. I was confused I wish I know what was going on.
“Who is this Chad Edwards?” I asked but they did not answer.
Destin finally came up to me and put his arms around me. “Kate, Chad Edwards is the man who started the war between the vampires, the black dragon and the society. He also restarted the Dragon Fang.” Destin explained,
“He also killed mother.” Andrew was staring at the house.
The rest of the day went in silence I did not know how to react and just went with the flow.
