Chapter 20- Begin Again

"Yuqi and Miyeon, stop the kissing and look here.", Soyeon said affirmatively.

"This is serious. We've never let two girls in our group, yes Miyeon we won't call it gang anymore, before. Shuhua, Minnie and I have known each other since school you know?"

Yuqi tensed up, she felt honoured by Soyeon. She'd looked up to her for a while now and so desperately wanted to be a bad bitch like her.

She's gonna grab any opportunity she gets to show how strong she is!

"But you both have grown special to me. It just happened. I guess this was meant to be? All in all, I like you both. Why don't you come with us to meet Soojin today? "

"Soojin?", Miyeon asked.

"Oh, Miyeon. You have much to learn.", said the girl with bangs and blue tank top who crouched on Soyeon's bed, her clothes put on carelessly.

This was Minnie, Soyeon's girlfriend.

"Soojin was the smartest girl in our school", said Shuhua, her tone softening now that she wasn't screaming," but she was thrown out. False accusations mostly. The teachers couldn't handle how fiercely free she was."

The stray sunlight illuminated the cozy meeting place that was Soyeon's dorm. Her clothes were on the floor, her computer was on, her papers were not arranged.

Still, there was an thinly veiled aura of intelligence about the room.

"She works at a nearby hospital now.", Soyeon said.

"And her in the nurse uniform-", Shuhua blushed into her hand. She rarely got shy, but when she did it was a sight to behold.

"So then, lets head off. By the time we reach, she'll be on lunch break. Lets get our G-IDLE together!", Soyeon announced.

Jeongin felt awful looking around the hospital.

He had a senior's unconscious body in his hand so he couldn't voice his thoughts in the confusion. But he felt disgusted by everything around him.

"Fancy ass hospital. If Chan and I had the money to put him in here, he'd have recovered soon enough. But all this means nothing to me. Chan is happy with me.. right? I'm trying my best...to get him on his feet."

He looked around at the leagues of nurses and medical equipments here and there.

Last time he was here in the emergency department with Chan, they'd treated them horribly.

"Where's that fucking doctor who'd turned us around from the operation because we couldn't pay right at hand? I'll make him need a doctor himself."

Jeongin bit his lip.

No, he wasn't supposed to be so bitter. Chan wouldn't like it.

"Jisung seems to know his way around here huh.", he watched as the latter opened the door to a booth, left Minho with Jeongin for a second, looked around and came back.
