I was walking on Rex's right, while Ahsoka was on the left. He took us around to the cannons.

"Have you thought about moving that line back, Captain?" Ahsoka inquired.

"Yeah, they'd have better cover that way, wouldn't they?" I asked.

"Thanks for the suggestions, but General Skywalker thinks they're fine where they are." Rex replied.

Ahsoka looked at me with a mischievous grin, I knew something outlandish was going to be said. "So...if you're a captain and we're both Jedi..."

I rolled my eyes. Why did she have to drag me into it? "Then technically we outrank you, right?"

I sighed.

"In my book, experience outranks everything." Rex told us.

"Well I guess if experience outranks everything, we should start getting some." She looked at me, and then Rex.

I could agree on that, as apprentices we both are definitely itching for some action.

"W-what's that?" I looked up ahead.

There was what appeared to be a bubble emerging through a opening formed by debris. From what we've seen, it looks to be from the direction the droids occupied.

"Not good," Rex hissed "they've got an energy shield. That's gonna make things damn near impossible." He looked at Ahsoka "If you want experience little one, it looks like your about to get plenty."

My eyes widened as the shield extended farther and farther. "Come you two, we need to talk to the generals."

We met with Master Kenobi and Skywalker at a holotable, which mapped out the entire war zone.

"They're slowly increasing the diameter and keeping it just ahead of their troops." Master Kenobi pointed to the model of the shield on the map.

"Heavy cannons are gonna be useless against that." Rex explained.

I was across the table so I got a clear view of Ahsoka, she was staring heavily at the projection of the battlefield. Walking around the table to get a better assessment of its contents.

"As they get closer I guess we could draw them into the buildings." Obi-Wan pondered aloud. "That might level the playing field a bit." He said while focusing himself to the skyscrapers on the table.

Ahsoka did the same, walking next to him. "If that shield's gonna be a such a problem, why don't we just take it out?" She asked.

"Easier said than done." Rex answered her.

"Well I for one..." Anakin coughed. "I agree with her." He said in a more professional tone.

Me and Ahsoka, more than me, observed him closely to see what he had to say. "Someone has to go to that shield generator and destroy it."

"Right." Obi-Wan agreed. "Maybe you three can tiptoe through the enemy lines and solve this particular problem together."

I had no idea if Obi-Wan was being sarcastic or not. Droids after all weren't the smartest. From what I heard, their sheer numbers and generals are the sole reason this war wasn't won months ago.

"Can do, Master Kenobi!" Ahsoka began

"I decide what we do." Anakin cut her off. "And three's a crowd." He looked at me and back at Ahsoka.

He was definitely signifying he "needed" one of us.

"Alright then, me, Rex, and Aviss will engage them here." Obi-Wan pointed to some place on the holotable, I wasn't paying attention. "So hopefully, you two might just have a chance to get through their lines undetected here." He pointed to an area up ahead.
