Chapter Twenty-Two

A/N: Hey y'all I just wanna say thank you so much for the support on the last few chapters. It was really my first time making material not based on the Clone Wars story line, but rather around my OC (Liyah.)

I also wanted to say that the story may pick up the pace a bit. I will be doing little time skips like days, weeks, and months ahead just to capture some of the key moments of the show and episodes that I and you guys like. So don't be shy, share some things you wanna see, characters you want Liyah to interact with, episodes you want covered, ect.

Around a month and a half later.....

We we're receiving devastating losses at the hands of General Grievous. The Republics control of the Outer-Rim was almost up for grabs. Me, Ahsoka, and Anakin were stationed in the Bothawui System, to try to put a stop to the droid armies sieges.

We were in contact with Master Kenobi, via hologram.

"Among our most recent losses was the battlegroup at Falleen. The separatists fleet commanded by General Grievous is headed your way." Obi-Wan said.

Me and Ahsoka looked at eachother irritated. Just minutes before, we talked about how tired we were of being in orbit.

"Seems like that coward knows where and when to attack us." Master pondered aloud.

"You're heavily outnumber Anakin, I advise retreat."

Me and Ahsoka looked at Anakin, waiting for his response. We both knew he would never give up.

"If we run, the Separatist will take over this sector. We can't let them do that."

"And that is your problem." Obi-Wan said.

"Master Kenobi is right. We should regroup-"

"Ahsoka." Anakin interrupted her.

"Suicide is not the Jedi way, Master."

"She's right." I said.

"You should listen to your Padawans." Obi-Wan said. "Thank the stars you have two of them to tell you right from wrong." He jabbed.

"As you listened to yours, my old Master?" Master shot back. "And no, we're going to stay and fight." He looked at the both of us. "And I think I know how to beat Grievous at his own game."

Master clicked a button on the table, it displayed AT-TE's.

"What are those going to do in a dog fight?" I asked.

"Rex, you take some men with the tanks and place them in the asteroid field." Master ordered.

"Yes sir." Rex replied.

"The plan is to get them from both sides. They'll have their power focused on the forward shields, to protect themselves from the asteroids, you'll attack them from behind."

"That's actually a great plan!" I said.

"What do you mean actually?" Master crossed his arms.

"She means this is one of those plans that doesn't need you to scramble a hasty back up plan." Ahsoka chimed in.

"Very funny." He said. "I'll need you two to call the shots from here."

"What are you gonna do?" Ahsoka asked.

"Im gonna get down there on the front lines, that's what I'm gonna do."

"Why can't we come?!" She whined.
