"What does he mean by that?" I asked as we entered the dark and damp, hold of the ship. There were crates everywhere, shelves with bits and pieces of droids."I have no idea, mind your surroundings." Master said. He pushed crates out the way with the force. They were pretty heavy looking too, I guess he had a high force aptitude.
Ahsoka stopped to look at something behind a crate we just passed. It looked like two deactivated assassin droids.
"This must be the 'unique' items we were warned about." Master said, looking at the droids. "These assassin droids can be very unpredictable."
"Looks like they're switched off, they don't look so tough to me." Ahsoka said, earning a jab from me.
"Hey—"
"Nothing looks tough to you." Master sighed. "But take my word for it, they're deadly." He said ominously.
"Look." I pointed to a console.
"R3, access the computer and find the inventory manifest. R2 has to be around here somewhere." Master ordered.
I heard beeping, and figured it was R2 but it caused Master to enter his "Dad Mode."
"Did you hear that?" He shouted.
"Hear what?" Ahsoka asked.
"That sounded like R2!" He ran and pressed his ear up against the wall.
"How can he even tell?"
"It came from down here! R3, get this open!"
The lights flickered on, R3 obviously didn't understand us.
"No Goldie, the hatch!" Ahsoka pointed. She spoke in a motherly, yet scolding tone.
"Never mind I'll do it myself." Master pulled out his lightsaber and began cutting the hatch.
I felt a faint buzz inside my pocket then heard chirping. It was my communicator, someone was calling. I pulled it out and saw it was Jado.
A few weeks after we went to Jakku, I got another communicator and contacted him. We talked every now and then but he hadn't called me in a week or two.
I was about to decline the call, since it wasn't the time but I was grabbed my something. I turned to Ahsoka and she was gripped by one of the droids, and so was I. I was grabbed by both my shoulders so I couldn't reach my saber.
"Master!" Ahsoka and I called out.
Master came quickly, he sliced one of the droids arms off of Ahsoka and pushed it back with the force. He sliced droids neck, that was holding onto me.
Me and Ahsoka drew our lightsabers and sliced the droid on the ground apart.
"Really Goldie?" I said annoyed. I picked up my communicator put it back into my pocket.
"Phew." Ahsoka sighed. "You were right about the hands on experience Gramps." She said. "Much better than the archives."
"Great work, as for you Stubby," he looked at the droid. "You'd make a poor excuse for a light switch."
The droid beeped and rocked its body side ways, back and forth.
"I'm sure he did his best." Ahsoka said.
"His best wasn't nearly enough." I commented. "Makes no sense the droid couldn't complete a simple task like that."
"Could you?" Ashoka crossed her arms.
"If I were droid, yes."
"R2 would have never made that mistake!" Anakin stormed off and walked over to the door. "R3 couldn't even get a door open."
