Chapter One-Hundred-One

Master Kolar and Fisto joined us in the council chambers.

For the first time I took a seat in the chairs that were strictly reserved for council members.

"From now on this council will session to ensure the survival of the Republic. All members available will keep all information shared and said within these chambers." Mace Windu said.

I sat between Padmé and Anakin. "Master Windu, I have an idea on how we can go about the Chancellors Arrest." Padmé spoke up.

"Please, Senator." He nodded giving her the floor.

"We have the Clones do it."

"But the Clones are under the direct authority of the Chancellor." Mace Windu replied.

"Not to mention he has the highest rank in the Republic Military." Master Kolar agreed.

"That may not be true..." I paused as everyone looked towards me.

"Young Aviss," Mace Windu began, "What do you know?"

It was too much a dire situation to not come clean to everyone on what I had Rex do after Fives death. "Clone Troopers Fives, as we all know was killed due to his...temperament." I said, "This was due to the removal of his inhibitor chip which lists a series of contingency orders. Perhaps we could dig through them to find one that could potentially override the Chancellors Authority."

"Do you know if there's a contingency that will allow this?" Master Fitso asked.

"I- I actually am unaware of any of them." I said.

"Un...aware?" Mace Windu asked. "Then who is?"

"I had Commander Rex investigate the files and the chip-" Anakin looked at me as the words flew out my mouth, I hadn't told him.

"Under whose authority?" Master Windu asked.

"Look, I think that's besides the point." Padmé said. "Things are moving rather quickly, is there a way we can contact Commander Rex?"

"Yes. They should be in route to Coruscant. With Maul in custody."

She had really did it? Ahsoka captured Maul and freed Mandalore.

"We need to get to the commutations room, quickly." Master Kolar said.

"I'll have my Padawan start a transmission. His dorm is near by." I said, clicking my commlink.

"Master?" He answered. "Your eyes-"

"There's no time." I said. "I need you to bridge a transmission in communications room to the fleet sent to Mandalore. Use my access code to start it. We shall be there shortly."

"Yes, Master." He said the image wavering.

"He's more well spoken then you give him credit for." Padmé said, I could feel she was tired. I placed a hand on her shoulder giving some energy to her in the same way one would force heal. She looked at me and muttered the words "thank you".

Once we arrived within the communications room the large holo-table displayed the holograms of Ahsoka and Rex.

"Master, I've set up the transmission just as you said."

"General." Rex nodded to me. "We have captured Maul and are in route to Coruscant."

"I heard." I said as the new temporary council surrounded the table. "I'm here to actually contact you about fives files." Rex looked at me, then at each one of the faces around the table. "It's alright, something as happened and we need to-"
