"I'd like to show you something. If that's okay, before we bother with a hotel." He murmurs. She smiles very slowly. She finds herself nodding despite everything and Rene calls a cab. When they get in, he gives them an address that Celine is sure is next to the beach. Rene doesn't say anything on the drive, but Celine sees that he keeps touching something in his pocket. He takes a slow breath when the cab stops and Celine stares in wonder. This place reminds her of the one they stayed at on that wonderful vacation not long ago. Every happy memory slams into her as she steps from the cab. It's so beautiful. She loved the vacation and this house could be pulled right from the memory and plopped in front of her. She plays with her fingers until Rene motions to the place. "Would you like to go inside?"She nods once, still not trusting her voice. He grabs a key from somewhere, opens the door and Celine is swept up into the beauty ofthe home. No Hotel could ever beat a place that is this relaxed yet homey. She would rather be here than anywhere in the world right now, especially with Rene.
Rene
Rene watches Celine as she explores the house. He sees her linger in some areas, stroke the mantel of the fireplace. Everything she sees makes her face light up brighter, makes her moreexcited and he's so happy to just watch her smile after all they've been through recently. When she finally pushes the back doors open to enjoy the view of the beach from the porch, Rene hasworked up his nerve.
