"It's beautiful, Celine. I'm so sorry I won't be there to see you dancing together. I'm sureit will be wonderful." She sighs. Rene nods. "I was hoping you all would be able to come." "Next year!" Her mother says brightly. "We'll all be there. That's a promise." Celine beams and looks between Rene and her mother. She never thought they'd all be able to sit at a table together and truly enjoy each other's presence. It's so astoundingly new, so comforting, that she can't think about wanting anything more in her life. She excuses herself for a moment and rubs her chest while in the bathroom. Her face is all flushed and she feels so happy and bright. The next few days are going to be wonderful. She'sgoing to a spa, getting her hair done, going to get a full princess make over all to be there for her man. The man her mom actually approves of. She bounces, then tries to calm her excitement so she can rejoin the group without any worries. She knows she can't hide anything from Rene or her father. After a few cool breaths andputting her hair back in place, she feels ready.
Rene
The second Celine leaves, Rene leans forward. It's not exactly the perfect time, but perfect doesn't exist when it comes to timing. Rene's learned that from his history. Therese giveshim her full attention. "I'd like to ask your permission for something."
