Jean-Pierre doesn't push on her feelings, but offers her his hand. "Let's get you out on thedance floor. I know you're a professional." She nods and joins him. He spins her around, has fun, dips her back, and then she's twirled into Rene's other son. They dance and have a great time. No one worries about them dancing too close. The boy's girlfriends even cheer. It's fun and wild and Celine gets caught up in the music, enjoying the time with them. When she dances with Rene's daughter, they have a great time, fighting over who leads, laughing and talking together. Celine won't let a few actions keep her from having fun. She refuses. Until his daughter spins her out and she ends up close to Rene. They stare at each other and she almost asks for another dance. She pushes her hair back into place. "Do you want-""Can I just have some space, Celine? You're an adult, you should be able to entertain yourself." He snaps. She blinks and tries to reply. "I was just-""This event isn't about you and I shouldn't need to manage you here." Celine swallows the hurt even as her lips tremble. She glances to Jean-Pierre and Patrick and sees them as shocked as she feels. She nods to them. "Thank you for the dances." She first walks through the crowd, then hurries outside of the ballroom, grabbing her coatas she gulps in the night air. How is she supposed to deal with this? She blinks slowly and lookedup to avoid crying. She knows Rene can't let too much of their relationship out, but everyone is dancing with partners and she definitely didn't mean to upset him.
