"What do you mean? Anong bagong project po?" Kunot ang noo na tanong ko nang ipatawag ako ni boss Martin sa office. Ang sabi nya, may maganda raw syang balita. I went to the office ASAP.

"Well, have a seat first. Malaking project ito, Savannah. This is going to put us in the map!" halata ang excitement sa boses ni boss Martin so it must be pretty big.

Naupo ako sa couch nan aka harap sa kinauupuan nya. Intimidating ang laki ng office nya. Ilang beses na akong labas pasok dito kapag nag-uusap kami pero hindi pa rin ako masanay. For a 'small' company, this screams luxury. Siguro ay ganoon lang talaga si boss Martin. He likes expensive things and he got expensive taste.

"So, some foreign producers saw Something About Summer. They said they really liked it. Anyway, Korean producers ang mga ito ha? Nagustuhan pati nila ang kwento pati ang acting ni Jiyong. They reached out to me kasi gusto nila malaman kung pwede raw ba kaming mag usap for maybe a partnership."

Ngayon pa lang ay nanunuyo na ang lalamunan ko at nagsimula na akong manlamig.

"Nag-usap kami kanila via video call. Kilalang producer ito sa South Korea!"

"A-ano po ang napag-usapan nyo?"

"They are willing to send some of their actors and talents here. They want us to make another hit. We will co-produce the film, although hindi pa malinaw kung paano ang gusto nilang hatian. We haven't talked about figures."

Napakurap ako. "A-Ano pong g-gagawin ko?"

"Ikaw ang magsusulat ng kwento."

That struck something in me. Deep inside me ay nandoon ang excitement. Pero mas malala ang pressure. May kaunting confidence pa naman na natitira sa akin pero mas malala ang pressure na nasa isip ko. Hindi ako nakapag salita. Hinihintay ko na lang muna lahat ng details bago ako mag react.

"Hey, don't worry. We will help you with whatever you need. Besides, we don't want to put so much pressure in you, although gusto sana namin eh ikaw ulit ang writer, pwede ka naman mag hanap ng pwede mong maging kasama or ka collab to come up with a good story."

That should ease my worry pero naisip ko na paano kapag naging successful ulit ito? I want to be selfish and have all the credits and glory again. Just like what happened to Something About Summer. Yeah. Kung malaking project ito, this will be under my name again. I'll gain more recognition, more money even more work.

I wanted to stay positive. Itinapon ko muna ang kaba at pressure.

"You can also try sending different plotlines to see what they think of it. Nasayo pa rin naman mostly ang creative freedom but, they will have a say in some aspect. I hope it will be okay sayo?"

"Naiintindihan ko naman po."

"Also, dahil kailangan eh may eksena sa South Korea, they are inviting you to go there to experience the culture first hand."

Napa hawak ako sa dibdib ko. "T-talaga, boss?"

"Oo! Sabi ko naman sayo, big time producer itong mga nakausap ko. They're really interested to invest in this. They want Jiyong to be the main lead again and they're bringing in more artists from their company. I think this will be a hit again since kpop has been really popular these days."

Wala namang duda na malaki ang chance na maging hit ulit ito, naka depende rin talaga sa kwento na gagawin pero kung si Jiyong ang magiging main lead, mas malaki ang chance. Gusto kong maging selfish ulit at isipin na hihigitan nito ang Something About Summer kahit hindi pa naman nagsisimula.

"Are you working on something right now aside sa pinapagawa ko?"

Umiling ako.

"Okay, drop that for now. Mag focus ka dito. I want this to be your priority dahil lahat tayo ay makikinabang dito."
