"No, we don't." Mabilis na sagot ko. Pinanlakihan ko sya ng mga mata.

He just sighed and he looked defeated all of a sudden.

"What is this? Are you jealous?" Napa hawak ako sa dibdib ko. Not again!

Umiwas sya ng tingin sa akin.

I cupped his face at pinaharap ko sya sa akin. "He's just my lawyer." Nakangiti na sabi ko.

"I know."

"Eh bakit naka simangot ka?" I grinned at him.

He gently pulled away from my hands. "Some of the comments were asking if you guys were together. Bagay daw kayo."

Tumawa ako. Yeah, I saw the comments on Gade's post. "Eh ano? Di naman nila alam. Sinasagot naman pati ni Gade na client nya ako."

"And you two are on the first name basis," As-a-matter-of-fact na tono nya.

"Yes. Mas comfortable kapag ganoon."

"I call my lawyer Attorney Diaz and he calls me Mr. Choi."

I chuckled again. "What are you saying?"

Bago sya makasagot ay tumunog ang cellphone nya na nakalapag sa coffee table. Sabay kaming napa tingin. Korean ang pangalan ng tumatawag pero kita ko sa picture na si Mido iyon. They're using a different app that the Koreans use. Doon rin nakikipag communicate si Jiyong sa ibang kaibigan nya.

He looked at the screen for a second before he answered it. I was waiting for him to get up but he stay seated beside me.

He was talking in Korean so I just took another shot at kumain ng chips. And then, tumingin na lang rin ako sa cellphone ko. It seems like they have been discussing something. After a few minutes, their call ended.

Hindi ako nag tanong. I continued browsing on my phone.

Inilapag nya ulit sa coffee table ang cellphone nya.

"Your turn," Sabi ko at itinuro ang bote.

He quietly took a shot.

Gustong gusto ko magtanong pero pigil na pigil ko rin ang sarili ko.

"That was Mido,"

I licked my lower lip when he finally said that.

"Huh. Anong sabi?" Hindi ko pa rin inaalis ang atensyon ko sa cellphone ko.

"Gusto nya raw lumabas. I said I cannot go with her tonight."

"Okay na ulit kayo? I mean, friends na kayo ulit?"

"Well, yeah. She received a few projects while she's here. Some are with me. Nag catch up na kami." He answered like he's still not in the mood.

Tumango tango ako. "That's good, then. More work for you." Ako naman ulit ang uminom. Isang shot na lang ang laman ng bote. Wow. Ang lakas naming dalawa, ha?

"I want to take a few days off before the shooting starts so I can focus with the script as well."

"Okay lang ba 'yon? I mean, hindi ba magkaka conflict or something?" Naisip ko na naman na hindi pumayag SKV before dahil puno ang schedule ni Jiyong tapos biglang pwede na sya. Baka may nasagasaan na ibang trabaho si Jiyong.

"I'll see." Tumingala sya.

"Eh kasi, I remember SKV saying na hindi ka pwede sa project na 'to with SCAED kasi puno ang schedule mo and then suddenly, pwede ka na. I was thinking na baka magka conflict sa mga naunang schedule mo." Hindi pa rin mawala sa isip ko.

Inayos nya ang upo nya at humarap sya sa akin. "Don't worry about it."

I pouted. "Paanong hindi ako magwoworry. I don't want any trouble for you."
