tw: really graphic violence and use of a knife
You finally pulled away from the kiss, to catch your breath and to take in everything that had just happened. Hermione's hands were on your chest, she was panting just a bit and moved her eyes from yours to your lips then back. You both broke into a small laugh and you saw that Hermione still had tears coming down but it was fading.
You wiped the tears away with your thumb as you both grinned at each other. You kept your hand on her cheek for a moment as you both just looked at each other, admiring each other's features.
"Why didn't you just tell me sooner?" You said in a sort of a whisper as you both were close to each other.
"You said you didn't like me anymore." Hermione shrugged. You let out a chuckle.
"Of course I still like you. Isn't it obvious?"
"No, you're quite good at hiding it actually," giggled Hermione. The same giggle that made your stomach do flips every time you heard it. You pulled her into a hug so happy to be able to finally let out your feelings and not suppress them any longer.
"Don't worry, Hermione, I still like you. Very much actually." Hermione didn't respond but you felt her smile as she nuzzled her face into your neck.

The next day, you kept smiling to yourself after replaying what had happened last night. Harry definitely noticed it as he had asked you multiple times if you were alright. Ron, on the other hand, was completely distracted by his newfound fame and his new girlfriend. You, Harry, and Hermione visibly cringed whenever Lavender and Ron did anything overly coupley which was literally all the time.
Speaking of Hermione, you both hadn't announced your relationship yet. You both didn't really say anything about the status of your "friendship". Yesterday night, Hermione slept with you in your dorm but little was said.
You walked down the almost empty corridor alone, Hermione had to tutor some 4th years. You weren't aware of your surroundings since you were thinking of Hermione. You were in the middle of daydreaming about you and Hermione going on a date when you felt a very hard push.
You landed inside a dark and dusty janitor's closet. Before you registered everything, you felt your sight disappear. Someone had put a cloth around you and you felt something being stuffed into your mouth. Two people were holding you down as a third person was tying your hands around your back.
You tried to scream but were obviously muffled by the thing in your mouth. The two people turned you around on your back and you felt something stepping onto your stomach. You heard some whisper and then felt a huge blow to the side of your hip. You yelled in pain, sweat dripping profusely.
"Get on your knees." You recognized the voice. "I said get UP!" You could barely move. The perpetrator seemed to have caught on as you felt two people grab your arms and put you on your knees.
Just when you had gotten into the position, you felt another kick ton the side of your face. If it weren't for the stuffing in your mouth, you would've been splitting blood. Your body hit the floor; you were panting and internally begging for mercy.
"I won't ever let someone like you put your filthy hands on me ever again. Don't ever come near me again, do you understand?" You did not want to nod or do anything, not when he was the one threatening you.
"Not going to talk right? Fine." You heard a sharp noise before you felt your shirt lift up. You immediately yelled as you felt a scorching pain on your stomach. The person dragged his knife across the side of your stomach as tears swelled up in your eyes.
"Hey, I think that's enough man let's just leave her alone." Another voice piped up, yet this one was unfamiliar to you.
"Shut up. If you tell anybody at all about this, I will make sure you feel a lot more pain than this." The familiar voice said. You heard the door close. The pain finally subsided and the three people left the closet, leaving you sweating, bloody, and hurting on the floor.
