10 || Disappear

You saw Hermione stand up from her table and walked out the doors. You took your chance and went after her.

"Tell me why I think this won't go too well," Ron said.

"Hermione! Hermione, wait!" You called after her. She sped up her pace, clutching her books. You caught up to her and grabbed her shoulder, desperate to get her to hear your apology. "Hermione, I'm sorry. I overreacted-"

"I don't want to hear it, get away from me Y/n." Hermione shook your hand off and began walking away. You tried grabbing her shoulder again but you heard a voice behind you.

"Hey, get away from her!" The broken-nosed boy called out. "She doesn't want to hear whatever stupid apology you have to say. However, I would like an apology." He reached the two of you since Hermione stopped walking when she heard Cormac.

"For what?" You responded, crossing your arms.

"Oh please, Y/n. For this." Cormac pointed at his noise, inching closer to you, making you step back.

"Get the fuck out of my face." You pushed him, annoyed and just angry at what a horrible person he could be. Cormac's expression changed and he began to walk to you, seemingly winding up a punch or something.

"Stop! Enough!" Hermione intervened between you two. "Y/n, please leave me and Cormac alone." Hermione looked sadly at you as she took Cormac's hand and guided him away. Your heart plummeted. She had already "moved on" and "replaced" you with Cormac. Not like any of those words had meaning to her anyways. She got what she wanted and you lost what you needed.

You had tears swelling up your eyes and quickly wiped them away, hoping nobody in the halls could see you. You heard someone quickly walk toward you.

"Y/n! Are you alright?" Ginny quickly came to your side and saw you wiping your tears. It didn't help they just kept falling and coming down faster and faster. In no time, you were an absolute mess. You were sobbing onto Ginny, who held you and comforted you. You didn't say anything except cry and cry until you had no more tears to shed. You sit down on a bench and had hiccups as Ginny rubbed your back.

"I don't get how she could get with such a useless, dumb prick." You finally said with hiccups in between words.

"It's going to be okay, Y/n. You don't deserve this, everything will be alright," comforted Ginny.

You felt like retorting and you wanted to angrily yell how not everything will be alright and how you just wanted to be with the girl you were in love with. But you didn't have the energy for that and instead put your head on Ginny's shoulder, wishing to just disappear.
