The next morning, you woke up and saw the girl of your dreams sleeping with you. She looked absolutely gorgeous with the sun rays hitting her as her curly brown hair was slightly messed up. You just could not believe you were with someone like her.

Hermione stirred awake, which snapped you out of your trance. However, you still subtly admired her, her honey-brown eyes glistening in the light.

"Hi." You finally said.

"Good morning, Y/n." Hermione grinned at the sight of you. She also wanted to wake up to you and not just as friends. You looked at her once more before getting out of bed. You absent-mindedly put on your white button-up and tie.

"Do you know what today is?" You heard Hermione say. You turned around, tying your tie, and raised your eyebrow.

"No..."

"It's Saturday, silly." Hermione got up from her side of the bed and took your tie that was already tied on you. She undid it for you and was very close to you. You looked down at her as she undid your tie, a red emerging on both of your cheeks. The tie was undone and Hermione finally looked up at you.

You immediately kissed her plump, pink lips. She put a hand to your cheek and kissed back harder than ever. You wanted to go for more but she pulled away with her radiant and warm smile.

"Change out of your uniform, Y/n. I'll see you in a bit." Hermione looked back at you one more time before walking out of your dorm. You stared in the direction she left before cleaning yourself up. You then grabbed a hoodie, jeans, and your shoes and left the room.

Hermione grabbed your hand before you two headed out of the common room. Some people glanced at both of you, a little bit confused. Many people throughout the school were aware of your argument but not many were aware you two made up. Nobody knew you two were a thing.

You both made your way to Harry, who was sitting by himself. Ron was probably off snogging his girlfriend like always.

"Who are you trying to make jealous now?" Harry said, looking at the newspaper that was covering his face.

"Nobody, Harry." Hermione looked at you, asking you for permission before she said what she wanted to say. You smiled and nodded. "We're actually together now. We are officially dating."

"Finally. I could also tell something went down yesterday night."

Your eyes widened and your heart skipped a beat. Did everybody hear you and Hermione last night? She was pretty loud.

"Don't be so shocked, Y/n. Only a few people heard you two last night but everyone can tell based on those hickeys on your neck."

Hermione's eyes widened this time, while you sighed in relief. She was not used to having hickeys as she had never gotten them before. You laughed at her reaction, making her glare at you. Your attention was caught by a streak of red appeared on the opposite end of the table.

"Ginny-" You recognized the face, immediately feeling guilt and wanting to finally apologize.

"Don't worry about it, Y/n. I'm over that." Ginny calmly said.

"Yea, don't worry about it Y/n." Harry finally put his newspaper down, revealing a massive amount of hickeys on his neck.

"You and Ginny?!" You and Hermione both exclaimed a bit too loudly. "When in the world did this happen?" whispered Hermione, after realizing she was too loud. Harry grew shy and hid his face with the newspaper.

"Like last night. We kissed a few days ago." Ginny sheepishly answered. You and Hermione both looked at each other, then shrugged. At this point, anything could happen.

"Wait, what happened to your face?" Ginny pointed out, worried. You looked down.

"Nothing, don't worry about it. I just fell." Hermione's hand tightened on yours as you answered, making you less nervous. Her presence itself could always get you to calm down.

"Hi, guys!" A very enthusiastic voice popped up behind you both, making Harry put down the newspaper. Lavender Brown had her hands wrapped around Ron's arm, the redhead's lips were visibly swollen and you could tell he was slightly annoyed by the girl.

The four of you mumbled a few good mornings and hellos.

"So, me and Won Won," you cringed at the nickname, "were going to Hogsmeade later. Do you guys wanna come? Harry and Ginny could come as a couple and..." Lavender's voice trailed off after she shifted her attention to you and Hermione.

"We'll go together. As a couple." You boldly stated, catching Hermione by surprise.

"Great! See you then!" Lavender jumped excitedly and dragged Ron off with her.

You turned back to Hermione, who was staring at you intensely.

"What-" You started but Hermione cut you off with a rough kiss. Your heart beat twice as fast. This was the first time you two kissed in public as a real couple and you lived for it.

"Our first date, Y/n," Hermione said once she pulled away. "I don't think you understand how long I've wanted to do this in public and not pretend it doesn't mean anything.
