You sat up, adjusting your eyes to the sunshine. You turned around to look for the time and stopped when you saw a ginger girl sleeping soundly next to you. You cocked your head to the side, wondering why Ginny was next to you on your bed. Then you remembered.
"Oh shit." You muttered, burying your head in your hands.
"Oh, good morning, Y/n," smiled Ginny, sitting up on the bed as well. You both were naked and you had just realized so you grabbed your t-shirt off your the floor and put it on.
"Hey..." Your voice trailed off, thoughts running through your brain. You still wasn't sure what exactly happened last night except that you and Hermione were not on good terms and that you and Ginny had sex last night.
"How are you feeling?" Ginny ran her hand up and down your toned arms.
"Good, I'm going to go brush my teeth." You forced an awkward smile out and quickly walked to the bathroom.
You let out a groan as you put your hands on the sink and looked at the mirror. There was no way Hermione would talk to you now. You blamed her for something she couldn't have possibility known and you probably ruined your friendship with her. Great job, Y/n, you muttered under your breath. You also had another issue. What in the world were you going to do with Ginny?
"Ginny-" You opened your bathroom door, already changed into a sweater and jeans since it was a Saturday. You felt a pair of lips on yours and hands cupping your cheeks. She pushed you against the wall, her body leaning onto yours.
You let yourself sink into the moment but something was missing. Yes, Ginny was an amazing kisser but she just wasn't Hermione.
You pulled away mid-kiss. Ginny leaned back in to continue but you moved your face. You needed to make things clear and understand what Ginny was doing.
"Ginny, stop. Why are you doing this? I should've asked this yesterday before we hooked up but aren't you dating Dean Thomas?"
"We broke up, Y/n. I was desperate for something with someone and I've actually been interested in you for a while." Ginny said as her body was still leaning onto yours, her eyes flickering from yours and your lips.
"When I overheard your fight with Hermione, I decided to come help you. I could've done this earlier since you two weren't actually dating anyways."
You bit your bottom lip before sighing. "I really do need to get my mind off of her and whatever happened last night. No offense, I don't really wanna date right now, I've been doing too much of that actually." You pinched the bridge of your nose. "If it's okay, I would like to keep hooking up." You smiled a bit.
"I would really like that, Y/n." Ginny gave you one more longing kiss before grabbing her clothes and going to the bathroom to change. You stayed waiting for Ginny to get ready so you could go to breakfast with her.
---
You half listened to Ginny as she giggled and clung onto your arm while telling you her Quidditch stories and whatever else. As you stepped into the Great Hall, the first thing that caught your eye was Hermione sitting at the far end of the table with Cormac and his swollen nose.
You caught Hermione staring at you and Ginny as she laughed and hit your arm even though you didn't say anything. You two kept eye contact until Ginny pulled you away to go sit.
"Hey, guys." Ginny cheerfully greeted Harry and Ron who were sitting next to each other.
"Ginny, Y/n..." Ron's voice trailed off as he saw his sister's arm wrapped around yours. "What is going on?" He raised an eyebrow, cringing a little.
"Y/n, uhh what is that on your neck?" Harry pointed at his own neck indicating what he was talking about. You tried to look on your neck but it was out of your line of sight.
"They're these red spots and stuff, did you get attacked by a bug last night?" Ron asked. Your eyes widened, realizing what he was describing.
"They're hickeys, Ron." Ginny rolled her eyes, smirking a little bit, as if she was proud of what she did. Harry and Ron dropped their jaws simultaneously.
"Wait does that mean-"
"Did you two-"
"Yes, we did," Ginny said before you could say anything. You turned away from the three, a little embarrassed. You looked Hermione's way and caught her staring at you again before turning away. Sighing, you took a loaf of bread, not really having an appetite. Your mind was a mess and you needed to find a way to clear things up.
