Aelia sat in his her hospital bed reading a book as she waited for her co-workers to come to her room for rounds. She just turned to chapter 10 when her door opened and Doctor Bailey and Shepherd walked in with her fellow interns behind them "Grey present" Doctor Bailey stated

Meredith stepped up "Aelia Gallagher, 21, 3rd day in. Concussion to the head after hitting it against concrete and bruising to her left ribs" Meredith stepped back and Shepherd stepped forward shining his light pen in Aelia eyes "How do you feel Aelia? Any headache, dizziness, short of breath?"

"Nope, just some pain on my side but other than that I'm good" Aelia looked at her resident "When can I get out of here? The more time I'm stuck here, I'm not working and I'm losing money for my siblings" Izzie discreetly rolled her eyes but Alex saw her and elbowed her in the stomach giving her a glare when she looked at him

"Don't worry you're still getting paid" Aelia sighed in relief "And you can be released today, but you have to stay home tomorrow. You can come back to work after that but tomorrow you need to relax so you don't overworking yourself. Can you do that?" Bailey asked with a hand on her waist

She has grown to really care for her youngest intern and doesn't want her doing anything that could make her injuries worse "Don't worry, I'll make her take it easy" A new voice cut in. Aelia smiled and turned to see a dirty blond with gray eyes and a small scar under her left eye standing in the doorway

"Elena" Elena smiled back at Aelia and walked past the interns "When did you get in?" Aelia asked, hugging her sister "This morning, I stopped by the apartment and Ian told me what happened." they pulled back from the hug and Aelia gave her an apologetic smile "Right, sorry I didn't call you. My phones been dead since last night" Elena waved her off turning to the others

"Hi, I'm Elena Hale this one honorary big sister" she shook hands with Bailey and Shepherd "And you must be Doctor Bailey, Ali talks about you a lot" Aelia blushed and punched Elena in the arm "Do not" she muttered not looking at her resident

"Well, if you promise to look after her, then we can get the paperwork started for her to leave" Shepherd told Elena as he look at the stitches on Aelia head making sure they didn't pop open and that they're healing correctly "I promise, this one won't be doing anything today. Not with me and her siblings around" Aelia smiled at Elena knowing she's going to be so protective today and won't let her do anything

"Alright then, everything looks good" Derek said switching out her old bandages for new ones "I'll get that paper work started and you can go home today" Aelia pumped the air wanting to out of this bed

Aelia and Elena walked out the hospital, Aelia now dressed in black ripped jeans, dark green shirt and her white air force 1 "How about some breakfast at the Café near the apartment?" Elena suggested getting in her car. Aelia slid in the passenger seat "Sure I need something other than hospital food"

Elena laughed but nodded knowing how terrible hospital food really is "So, has anything other than you landing in the hospital happened? I didn't really get to talk to the kids before they left for school" Elena asked. Aelia nodded with a smile "Liam joined the soccer team and Ian joined the football team, Debbie joined the school debate team. Lip got a job, he wants to make his own money. Carl is deciding if he wants to join the basketball team or not"

Elena nodded, she's happy that her honorary little siblings are doing well in their new schools. "Have you talked to Fiona at all since you left?" Aelia sighs nodding her head remembering the call she got the day before the accident "Apparently the doctors are worried about the baby, someone caught Fiona doing some drugs, they're keeping her at the hospital until it's time for her to give birth. Their worried that the baby might come early because of all the drugs she took"
